SHE finishes applauding herself and then the show goes on.
That is just beautiful. Well, we're almost there folks, only three more awards to go, and two of them once again are going to the same person.
In this case, they go hand and hand because of what this gal has done...not just for XWA but for professional wrestling as a whole. I think without even saying her name you know who it is I speak of because she was one of the first to even sign with the company, the first female competitor to sign with the company, the first XWADiamond Champion...she's just a woman of firsts, what can I say? She's been a crowd fave from the jump and has represented the Diamond Division the entire year as it's most consistent superstar overall.
They call her "the first lady", they call her "Ms. XWA", well now you can call her something even more special than either of those, because this is official. She is the best female face of 2007- the Shining Diamond and XWA's first ever Diamond Xtraordinaire, and not only that, but she's hands down one of the best in the world, period...and a girl that I myself am so proud of.

Ryan's slight moment of sarcasm was soon dashed by the announcing of Shining Diamond & Diamond Xtraordinare. The crowd had come to it's feet as Ashley, one of the pioneers of XWA was given the honor of both. She gives Ryan another kiss as he too joins in the applause. As she makes her way down the isle, she's given a standing ovation by fans and peers alike. She waves to everyone full of pride. As she reaches the stage, she gives Sierra a kiss on the cheek. She takes the podium and speaks out to the masses.
Wow. This right here, THIS is something. I made the decision to sign with XWA in Late January. The company had maybe 6 other people on roster at the time, all males. O'Dell. Adam, Ryan and Simon, Jon and Jimmy. I had no idea what was going to become of XWA's women's division. Hell, I didn't even know if there was going to BE a women's division. But then other females came into play. Girls Like Sayuri, Amanda George, Hayley Jonas, Mikaela Darksyde, Mari Cardinale. Women from all walks of life. When the Diamond Division was named, and the Diamond Title created, it all seemed to good to be true. I went into that Battle Royal thinking there was no way in hell I'd win. I mean, you had the experience of Hayley. The viciousness of Mikaela.The cunning of Amanda. The Skill of Sayuri. And then you had me. Plain Jane. But there's something I did have that I continue to have to this day. The will to win.
The fans in the stands cheer loudly as she continues.
It's the will to win that's carried me through the season. Even as champion, I felt I had something to prove. But not to the rest of the roster. Not to the critics. I had something to prove to myself. I wanted to prove that I BELONGED in XWA. That a woman could climb in the ring and not be the bustiest, or the prettiest, or the most stylish, and STILL be a success. And most importantly, I wanted to bring creditability to Female Wrestling in North America again. After all, by the grace of the lord almighty, XWA's women's division had MY name. The DIAMOND division. And I had to show without a doubt that I WAS the Diamond of all Diamonds. I HAD to show the world that I was the best there was to offer from this company. But to accept this for myself would be a dis-service to the other ladies. The girls who risked life and limb to compete at a level that NO COMPANY on this continent can, or ever will match. So to ALL of you girls in the audience, you're ALL Shining Diamonds in my book. WE did it. WE made Female Wrestling a sport again.
The theater comes to it's feet again from Ashley's words.
And as for the Diamond Xtraordin are award. This is an even bigger honor. This means alot to me, because it means I fought the good fight, and whether I won or loss, I kept to my beliefs. And that belief is that one person CAN make a difference. I went from being plain Jane, to being the face of XWA. And I intend on continuing to represent this company...MY company with poise, grace and dignity. Thank you all so much. From the bottom of my heart. Thank you all.
The thunderous applause starts up again as Ashley holds her awards high. She says another thank you off mic and makes her way off the stage.

That leaves us with one more award to dole out, the 2007 Combatant Xtraordinaire. This goes to the most consistant male competitor in the entire league, and the choice isn't one that I think anybody would disagree on. He might not have had the impressive years that some have over XWA's first season, but he has shown heart, grit, pride, tenacity, all the qualities that separate the good from the great and the great from the XTRAORDINARY.
The irony is that this man hasn't held a title in the league yet, but in my honest opinion, with all due respect to champions past, present and future, this title means so much more in the long run.
With that it's my great honor and privilege to present this award to...
 KAYN

*Kayn was just a surprised to hear his name called as anyone else. As he stood up and walked towards the stage all that could go through his head was* Hard work and dedication definitely do pay off *As he accepted the award, he shook Sierra’s hands and stood at the podium.*
“Wow, this is a surprise. I’d like to thank the staff here at XWA for seeing something in me and giving me all the opportunities I’ve received, thank you so much. I also want to thank everyone in the locker room that not only helped me have some memorable matches, but who have also become my friends over the past year. I want to thank my family for supporting me when things got rough, I love you all. Finally and most importantly, I want to thank the XWA fans, because without them, we have no reason to be here. This is for all you out there. Thank you all so very, very much.”
*After Kayn finished his little impromptu speech, he raised his award over his head as a sign of victory. He held the award in his arm and gave everyone that was sitting in the audience a round of applause, then took a small bow and returned to his seat with his award in hand.*

And so the awards were now all given, the cerimony complete and the 2007 XWA Season officially over.
All that he's done and he's so humble too! That's what we love about you Kayn, you've got character that some so-called "stars" out there can only dream about. That right there is what makes this the XTRAORDINARY Wrestling Association.
Well, that's gonna do it folks...the 2007 XWAward show is officially over and done, and on behalf of the entire staff of the XWA I thank you all for joining us this evening and joining us this season. I think it's a safe bet to say that the men and women of the XWA have only just begun, but at least now we can take a break. 
Please tip you waiters!!! I love you all! Mimi loves you all! XWA loves you all!!!
