Yeah, it is pretty cool. All the stars getting granted an award for their dedication. It’s really great. But I’d have to say that I don’t think I’ll be capturing one this year. Last season wasn’t my greatest and I wasn’t around for the last half of the year. |

She might have dropped the Sailor Moon gimmick, but the girl is still Looney Tunes.  Okay now to the men's award...and the winner of the 2007 Men's Comic Relief award is another unanimous choice. He's a man who's as witty and whimiscal as he is controversial, and it's not often that you get those two thing in one package. He's a truly one of a kind individual in this industry...and I think there are PLENTY of us out there who think that's a good thing. A very...good thing.
So, the winner is...you know him, you love him...well some people do, as if that matters to the prick...Proof that XWA will hire ANYBODY...

:.:So we find Kris Sayint speeding away in his Mitsubishi Lancer EVO on the highway. He was making his way to New York. He heard that the XWA was in the off-season but no matter he still wanted to join up with the business for when the 2008 season would start. Besides he heard that there was an awards show that was going on. He figured that this would be a great place to start to meet some people. So he down shifted to get off at the exit then he shifted back up picking up his speed tearing the road apart. He was making his way toward the Hilton Theater for where the award presentations were taking place. At the end of the street he could see the Hilton. A huge building indeed it was. He hit the pedal causing the car to move faster toward the building. Kris was damn sure lucky that there were not too many cars on the road. As he got closer to the building he pulled on the e-brake and quickly turned the wheel causing the car to slide sideways. The car went into a long skid right into a parking spot near the front of the building.:.:

:.:The car door opened and out stepped Kris Sayint. What was he wearing? This was a special occasion so what do you think? He was dressed in a white pin striped suit with a black shirt and white tie. Oh yeah he was dressed to impress. Come on now this was big so he had to look nice. He made the sign of the cross and pointed to the sky. He then walked around the car and entered the building. He walked down the hall to the actual theatre area. Once he entered he saw a bunch of people in their seat. It was packed and when I say packed I mean packed like every seat was taken. There was a small section that was empty and that probably was for the superstars on the roster. Kris wasn’t on the roster but he was going to be so he might as well sit there. He walked down to that area and took a seat a row behind everyone else. He didn’t say anything to anyone. He didn’t want to interrupt. He sat there waiting to see if anyone would come to him.:.:

She was enjoying herself here. The vibe was pretty classy. Nothing at all wrong with a little pageantry to close out a year. It was making her more and more exciting about being a part of things now.

Harris smiles as he gets up and walks over to the bar. He taps on the counter as the bartender appears. Rum and coke please. The bartender nods, and he goes to make the drink. A mere few minutes later, Harris re-appears with her drink, after tipping the bartender.Here you go Kristal.

It takes a moment, but Punch for some reason steps out from one of the side doors of the theater. With a slick grin, he steps in carrying a bag over his shoulder. Still in his street clothes, he shleps on up to the stage. As the crowd look in bewilderment as to why he's got a bag with something kinda heavy in it, He steps up to the podium.
Comic relief award, eh? So I'm Mr. Funny guy in XWA now, eh? Sweet deal. Now I had this whole speech planned with what I have in this bag I got laying here. But I've been "advised" not to use it by the director. To riske he said, seein' as there's kids here and all. Now I could say somethin' funny, but I ain't in the funny mood right now. So I'm gonna take this here award, walk my ass outta that door, and go get plastered. But I'll leave you all with this...
...then again, it's to easy. To f'n easy.
He swipes his award, throws it in his bag and leaves the stage. He walks back to the door he entered from, kicking it in and leaves the theater. |
