As the event approaches, soon the entire venue is filled with fans, insiders and XWA Superstars alike. The anticipation is building and building up until XWA's Creative Director and host of tonight's gala steps onto the stage to get things underway.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls...welcome one and all to our 2007 XWA Award Show. Tonight we will celebrate the achievements of many standout performers of our fair organization over the course of XWA's first season, and award them as well as other whom have helped to make this company into the overnight success that it has become.

In just a few moments we will begin the festivities, but allow me to give you a rundown once again of the categories we will be presenting tonight:

-Hero of the Year (male face)

-Man You Love To Hate (male heel)

-Shining Diamond (female face)

-Dirty Diamond (female heel)

-Hardbody (Best Looking Male)

-Hotbody (Best Looking Female)

-Loose Screw (craziest person in the league)

-Comic Relief M/F (funniest character)

-New Sensation M & F (rookie award-"rookie" counts as first year in the league or less than 4 months in the league for this season)

-Biggest Mouth ("Long Winded" male)

-SHUT UP BITCH! ("Long Winded" female)

-Hottest Couple

-Combatant/Diamond Xtraordinaire (Best Overall Male/Female)

Hope you all enjoy the show, and to those who don't win tonight remember that next season is a whole new chance for you to show and prove as they say...

*We'll just wait for some folks to "show up" and then start the show.

It was an award show! It's a big deal, it would be crazy for Amber not to be there hobnobbing with all the people.

Wow, I just can't believe how excited I am for this here. I've been to awards shows before of course but this one tonight is really special, don't you think so Keith?

[ryan]

Meanwhile, Ryan, Ashley and Chloe had made there way to there seats. The theater was filling up fast. Ryan didn't seem to pleased having to be there though...

Of all the sheer luck. I mean Adam gets to travel to Japan of all places to go whip some world class ass, and I get stuck having to sit at an award show. That and the tag on this damn suit is REALLY buggin' me. How'd I let you two talk me into this?

[ashley]

Ashley pokes Ryan in the rib as she speaks.

Quit your complaining ya' big baby. Does Adam get to have Chloe and myself on each arm? I think not. Besides, this should be fun, isn't that right Chloe?


CHLOE!!!

[chloe]

~Chloe had her eyes fixated on the many...MANY...available men in and around the theater. She's boughten back to reality by Ashley's shouting~

WHAT!!! Dammit, Ash. I might not walk outta' here with an award, but I'll be damned I don't at least get me a trophy.

~She catches eyes on a nice lookin' guy with long, Chestnut hair and waves to him~

[ashley]

Ashley shakes her head as she sits down...

You're hopeless, Chloe. Absolutely hopeless. You know that?

[ryan]

Ryan jokingly chimes in.

She also needs to get those cob webs dusted off. *heh heh heh*

[chloe]

~Chloe punches Ryan in the arm~

SHADDUP!!! Cob webs. I'll give you some damn cob webs, funny boy.

Chloe and Ashley turn there heads away briefly, and Ryan winces from the arm shot.

[ashley]

Ashley turns her attention back to Ryan and Chloe...

Ok children...BEHAVE!!! I can't take you two anywhere, can I? *Giggle*

[Amber Gianni]

Of course...you'd have to imagine they aren't about to spare any expense. You know it really makes me wonder exactly how money do Carmella and Gallas have anyway?

The couple make it to their seat and settle themselves in.

Think you'll win anything tonight baby?

[zoe]

Well, here she was, pulling up at the awards show, this time in a limo instead of a taxi like she arrived at the party at Keith's place. She was dressed, somewhat nicely, not like she usually does at all. She wasn't wearing a dress. Not a big fan of them, instead she was wearing a woman's business suit, black in color, with a, you guessed it, pink undershirt. She strolled in through the front doors and took a gander at the place.

"Whoa..."

Hell, looked like they had went all out for the Awards Show that night, eh? She continued to stare at this and that, looking around the large place before finally beginning to walk. She greeted a few people and shook a few hands on her way before finally making her way to her reserved seat.

I'd like to think that we can win all the awards...but that's not gonna happen

Jon and Kim were pretty much settled into their seats as the presentation was about to begin. A Holiday party and then an Award Show, and that's not even counting Christmas Day himself. As he puts his arm around his ladies shoulder asks:

I wonder, if this is the Off-season, how comes it's still so busy? Isn't it supposed to be about R&R now?
