Anthony pulled up a chair and a 40 that was located on a near by table. He grabbed a glass and began pouring. After the glass was filled, he slammed it back in one shot. He filled the glass again and did the exact same thing. It wouldn't be long before he would be completely smashed off his chair.

Now since this is XWA's first season we're all rookies in a technical sense, so this year it goes to roster members who've been with us for four or fewer months. Going forward it will be awarded to all first year Combatants & Diamonds, so all of you newcomers in attendance, this will be your moment if you can earn it!

Ladies first. This young woman joined XWA in the month of August and since then has done very well for herself. She's a bit soft spoken compared to some of the other Diamonds here, but she has most certainly proven that great wrestling runs in her family. With that, the 2007 Female New Sensation is...

Ah, hell, she wasn't expecting this. She noticed the people sitting around her, were looking at her, and more and more people were beginning to turn their heads her way. Ah, hell... She stood up and made her way from her seat into the aisle. She brushed the front of her business jacket off before walking to the stage and right up on it, taking the trophy from SHE as she stood in front of the podium.

"Okay.... Well, umm... I must say, I wasn't expecting this, so, I don't have any speech prepared like I'm sure a lot of you guys might have. But, uh... Yeah, I guess I'm just going to wing it. I hit XWA, in August, like Miss Easton said. Some people said I was trying to ride my brother's coat tail, but, I was just in it for me, as I proved time and time again. I rather let my actions speak for me, like I have done, once again, time and time again. I know I hit the season late, but I must have made some kinda impact to get get this pretty little trophy. Its an honor to win something, knowing you earned it, by putting all your heart and soul into something. Its just... Hell, its not something that's easily described. I'm sure Amber Ryan and Jon can vouch for that right there.

Pausing momentarily, she looked at the award in her right hand, before looking back up to the crowd, holding up the award slightly for the people to see it.

"Yeah, winging it is harder than I though... Haha... So, I'm just gonna end it right here with a big thank you to all of you for making this fun, to all the fans for selling out our arenas and for the bosses for giving me a chance in this company. Thank you."

Well, it was true; soft spoken. She took her leave from the stage and headed back to her seat.[/font]

The crowd cheered on Zoe as she made her speech. Ethan gives an approving nod, before turning to Anthony to respond to his last comment.

I'llbe waitin' for it. We all know you talk the talk. But we'll see if you've still got the chops to walk the walk.

***Kim settled down at the already well underway awards ceremony, kicking her feet back and looking around. Awards ceremonies weren't usually Kim's cup of tea, she'd ran into several over the years that just end in heartbreak. As she sits, she waves to everyone.***

At this point, the show was in full swing and Ryan was late. What else is new? He walks into the room at a quick pace and takes a seat near the back. He looked like a wreck, too. His shirt was partially untucked, his tie was undone and his left shoe was untied. He quickly fixs his flaws, hoping not to be seen.

Anthony fills his glass again and downs it in one shot, just like the other two. He sat back as he watched the others get awarded for their efforts while Anthony sat there, not getting awarded for his. It was almost like it was deja vu.
