Thanks Zoe, looking forward to seeing you continue to impress us in 2008. Now, on the subject of impressing, the winner of the Men's Award is hands down, bar none the most impressive newcomer in the entire XWA, and he has the track record to prove it. He's defeated some impressive opposition since he came to XWA in June, and he might not be the best big man in the business yet, but he will be at the rate he's going. The unanimous choice for 2007 Men's New Sensation is...
ETHAN BAIN
Please come and get your award sir, and don't eat me.

Well, those awards could have gone to anyone really, like she said, we're all pretty new as a whole. I agree with the choices though. I'm glad I'll never have to be in the ring with Bain though. You might not be so lucky though baby.

Ah whatever I've handled big boys like him before so I can continue to
waving his hand at the thought of facing Bain in a match
I'm not gonna worry about that until I have to

Stumbling in after the equally late Ryan, is Lucas. He too looked to be out of sorts. His hair was askew, his shirt was wrinkled and well...thats about it, but to him this was a large deal. He quickly fixes his dress shirt, leaving the top three buttons undone and popping the collar. He starts playing with his hair until he's happy with how it looks. He sits next to Ryan and points upwards. You know what this is man? This is my new fuckin' hairstyle.

Well so has he! I mean, you beat Vikram, but so did he, and Xavier, and The Colossus and Liedhamer. Have you ever SEEN Liedhamer in person? He's like a ton. I think he'd just have to beat Kayn and XXL and he would actually be the best big man in XWA!!!
Now I now you think you can beat anybody but I'm just saying, that's pretty impressive there.

Bain rises from his seat with a smirk on his face. He looks to Jimmy and slaps him 5 as he steps out into the isle. The crowd showers him with cheers as he makes his way to the stage to accept his award.
I could come down here and thank a whole bunch of people for giving me the shot to wrestle in XWA. I could thank Jimmy for making the call to Mr. Gallas and letting him that there was 7 feet tall, 340lbs blue chipper just waiting to be signed. But If I did that, that'd be typical. That'd be just what you'd expect. But we all know I'm not the expected.
He holds the award up high...
This right here, means that of all the guys to come in late in the season, I was the best. And from where I'm standing, I AM THE BEST. Not to dis-credit what Sierra here said, but If I'm not the best big man in the business yet, no one is. Yea, I lost my one match to Dru Nedermeyer, but I gained something from it, and from working with him the weeks after. Knowledge. Knowledge I intend on putting to good use. And I've already knocked off some of the best big men XWA has to offer in the process. Higby, Vikram, Liedhamer, Xavier. There's only two more left on my list. Dru, I know you're on your way to Japan right now, but I'll be coming for my rematch in due time, and then, XXL. You'll be hearing from THE BIG TICKET. Bet on that one.
A speech, and a declaration of intent all in one. Ethan steps down from the stage.

Thank you very much Mr. Bain. Wow he's big... OK, I don't quite see the winners of the next award quite yet, but we do have a schedule to uphold here, gotta get you kids outta here before curfew. Next award up will be the COMIC RELIEF Award. Now as you would guess, this award goes to the person or people who were gut-busting in the funny way over the season as opposed to using the wrestling move of the same name, ha ha!!!
Silence...
OK, it's pretty clear that I'm not going to be winning this one any time soon. Tough crowd. These superstars though are worth of the title though. We'll start with the Women's award because in that category we actually have ourselves a TIE!!!
Not one, but two Diamonds definitely have future sitcoms in their future, or at least an HBO Comedy specials. The 2007 Women's Comic Relief award goes to...
Kristin HagerSayuri
I don't think there's a doubt in anyone's mind that while they were around, these two were funny girls for sure so let's give them a round of applause? Are either of them in attendance tonight? Come on up and say a few things if you want!

Addison sits in the corner of the seating area, away from where most of the XWA wrestlers are sitting. She hadn't seen them in months, and doubted they would recognize her anyway. She was dressed in a sleek almost-black purple dress, complete with two bracelets which resembled Wonder Woman's. Her hair was up in that classic "librarian" bun, and she even had the glasses to complete the look. "Why are you even here Addison?" she thinks to herself, "I mean...yeah, you got the invitation in the mail, but it's not like anyone knows you here."
She sits quietly as Bain gives his speech, wondering how it must be like to have the world staring at you, as you give your thank-yous. She begins to imagine herself at the Academy Awards, getting the award for best actress in a leading role, and smiles to herself. "I guess this isn't so bad, maybe Cosette is here..."

Harris arrives at the Awards Show, in a white sports jacket, along with a white shirt, and white pants. He was a little late, and looks like he missed the first award. He silently made his way over to a table, snatching a drink out of the waiters hand on his way. He sat down quietly looking around, seeing some familiar faces, and yet some he hadn’t seen before. Kristal strolls along the red carpet as the show is already underway. So much glitz and glamour you'd think she wasn't back home in LA.
Isn't that whathisname-Austin? From the elevator? Yes I think so.
She's led onto the floor not too far from the rowed seats and sees Austin Harris sitting at a table. With a sigh of relief she makes her way over and says hello to the one person she recognizes since visiting Sarah Warfield.
May I?
Austin turns to see Kristal standing there in a stunning dress. He smiles, trying to hold his eyes in his head, as he stands up and pulls her out a chair. Absolutely, be my guest

Settled in she takes a look around at all the hoopla surrounding them. It was almost surreal the way it was all going down. Never did she think she'd be a part of something so grand.
I have to admit that this is all pretty cool. I can only hope that I get the chance to make a speech this time next year. How about you? Think you're gonna get lucky tonight?

Sayuri hurridly runs up to the stage, she was in the ladies room powdering her nose when the announcement was made. She was all smiles. She waves to the fans in the upper deck holding signs. (One said Marry me, Sayuri) Thank you all SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO very much for this. I'm just glad to be able to put a smile on peoples face. This is a very serious business. A business where enemies can be made easily, and bad blood spread fast. So to be able to put a smile on all of your faces has been an honor. It really has.She spots Ashley and Chloe in the crowd. LOOK GIRLS, I WON AN AWARD!!! WOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!!! And where am I gonna go now??? Uhm...back to the ladies room, I think I left my phone on the sink...EEEEEEEEEEEEEKK!!! Sayuri hauls ass off the stage and back towards the ladies room.

Bitches love my new hairstyle man. And if they don't? Fuckin' dykes. Lucas shrugs and gets the sudden idea that he's supposed to be applauding. Whether he's applauding the thugs that himself and Ryan threw down on outside or if he's applauding the award winners, he's unaware. But since its Lucas, he's probably cheering for himself.
