The way I see, those two have some promising careers ahead of them, but they're not the only ones. We'll just have to see how things go in 2009.
Now, we're coming towards the meat & potatoes. We're inching closer to naming the two Xtraordinaires of 2008...but first, we honor the heroes and villains that stood out among the rest of the best here in the XWA.
We begin first with the Hero of the Year award for the guys and the Shining Diamond for the ladies. This year sees us have two Heroes, men who exemplified what it means to be the good guy...and our Shining Diamond shimmers brightly for the second year in a row, continuing to prove to the world just why she's "Ms. XWA".
Please join me in applauding...

*Once again after the announcement by Ms. Easton, the screen lit up again with Kayn still in the same place he was previously with now two awards in his hands.*
“Geeze, two awards in a year. Who would have thought? Wow, hero of the year. This is one of those awards that you never really know who’s going to win since there are so many of us that just go out there and do what’s right. First off let me say it is an honor to be a co-winner for this award with a man I truly respect in Adam Devlin, even though I think he deserves it much more than I do. I’d also like to thank all the people who voted for me and everyone who helped me win this award. Finally I’d want to thank all the ‘bad guys’ out there that make my job that much easier.”
*Just then a voice was heard from off screen as Kayn turned his head in the direction of the voice.*
”We’re about to go on man, let’s do this!”
*Kayn looked back towards the camera with a smile on his face.*
“I hate to cut this short, but it looks like I have some more fans to entertain tonight. Thank you all once again.”
*As Kayn gets up off the couch the screen once again faded to allow the show to continue.*

As the show continued, so did MG and his raving over anything with a vagina. Channelle like everyone else just shook their heads.

Adam stands up from his seat. He nods to his peers and fellow superstars as he makes the walk down to the stage. Looking quite casual in a black button shirt, matching color slacks and his favorite pair of boots. Adam steps up to the podium after receiving the award from SHE and speaks.
I just wanna tell everyone what this award means to me. It means that in this day and age of wrestling, where everyone is all about shock value and creating controversy, that there are a select few of us in this business who are still about THE business, and not moochin' off of it to make themselves celebrities. Anyone in the building who knows me personally knows that I'm never one to toot my own horn. I stay humble in the fact that I'm doing what I want to do. I knew I wanted to be a wrestler from when I was a young kid back on Long Island, and I'm livin' my dream. The days of "heroes" in wrestling is pretty much dead, but I'm proud of the fact that I'm one of the guys still carrying the torch. One of the guys who busts his ass week in and week out to fight for not only what I believe in, but what each and every one of you fans believe in. Because I'm still a fan of this sport. And I firmly believe that if you stay true to yourself, and believe that no matter what's thrown at you, you'll endure...chances are you will. I'm living proof of that. Thank you ladies and gentlemen for voting me Co-Hero of the year, and I'll give you my gratitude for this award in the one place it matters most.
In the ring.
Adam holds the award up in the air as the Theater gives him a standing ovation. He looks to SHE and nods before leaving the stage.
