Behind Payne and Davis, stood Ryan. He had came in late, and his looks showed that. Wrinkled dress shirt, half-assed tie... You get the picture.
Is it just me, or is MG hornier than his jail cell butt buddies on one of their lonely nights, where there's nothing more than 'experimenting'? I'd say don't drop the soap, but it's clear that they not only drop it, but throw it..

Sushi-X finally arrived at the Kodak Theatre. With little time to get settled as he missed much of the show, he took the first seat available. He could only look at MG, his new boss, being MG as usual. He shook a few hands of the XWA superstars before finally getting seated.

For starters, continue working hard towards my goal of becoming the World Champion. And #2, to do that without the help of fans. Listening to them and trying to impress everybody else is what costed me my chance of being World Champion along time ago.
If there's any advice I can give ya, Romeo. Depend on yourself and don't listen to the fans. They'll do nothing for you other then give you a migraine headache. There fickle, and just when you think you have them on your side ? BAM ! They turn on you in a split second.
Your a good man, Davis. But watch your back at all times.. in this business. You gotta have eyes in the back of your head. You just never who or what will be gunning for your head next. It could be someone like Primo again, or it could be the man sitting next to you  .Payne in his own way was giving Romeo a warning to not trust anybody.. including Brandon Payne himself. Payne has alot of respect for Davis, and Davis has been cool with Payne. But if the day ever come they would have to fight each other in the ring ? Payne wouldn't hesitate for a second to take his comrad out. |

Not so fast there Jamie. Believe it or not...we have another award for you! So much for the suspense of it all, but whatever...
It's the New Sensation award, our own "rookie of the year" award that goes to the man and woman who's first campaigns were the most successful. Now Jamie, it goes without saying what you've done to earn this one, and in the case of your male counterpart, let's see...he's faced off against the Primo Coalition, he's had some wars against the likes of Godlieve Van Der Sar, and to top it all off, he beat the man who beat Kayn for the Pure Title, which he is still in the possession of going into the 2009 season.
A crew member quickly offers up the next two awards to the podium.
Not bad for a first year on the job I'd say...

After hearing the annoucnement of Romeo Davis winning the 2008 New Sensation Award, Payne says to him:
Not bad.. not bad at all my friend. Congratulations Davis. But.. just remember what I told you, m'kay ?
Payne turns his attention over to Blaze:

She wasn't even off of the stage before Jamie was now receiving another award. She smiles and make a u-turn back to the podium to collect.
Wow. I guess it kind of goes hand in hand doesn't it? Two titles in one year and the best W-L of all the Diamonds all in the first year in the company? I'm not going to take anything away from anything that anyone else has managed to do in their rookie seasons, because there's a lot of us here that can say that their first years in the XWA were memorable ones. All that I will say is that I'm happy that you all have recognized what it is that I've done and have the respect for those accomplishments to have awarded me with this honor.
I couldn't have asked for a better first year than I've had...but I'm going to work hard to make it a better second year than the first. Thank you all!
She couldn't even wave now, she had two awards in her hands. This had shaped up to be a good night for her, the latest in many she's had thus far. With a smile from ear to ear, she (finally) made her way offstage. |

Um, MG...I don't think we've ever had a case of two award winners being escorted out, but you're pushing it. Security...keep an eye on him. When I give you the signal, you know what to do.

Nate, still watching from high above, quickly unfolds his arms and slams his hands to the railing in front of him. He scowls down at the stage. Romeo Davis? Nothing against the man, but in Nathan's eyes, he was nothing compared to The Maple Leaf Massacre. Nate would just have to prove this next season, whether it be the new sensation himself or anyone else for that matter.
This is complete and utter bullshit.

Romeo steps up out of his seat and makes his way into the aisle. He makes his way down the aisle and up the stairs onto the stage. He walks past Jamie and applauds her. He then accepts the award from SHE and makes his way to the podium.
Well first off I wanna say congrats to everyone that has won an award tonight and who will win an award tonight. New Sensation huh? Well I gotta say it feels great getting’ this award. Durin’ your rookie season ya’ have to do your best to impress and I guess that’s what I did. It was a rough road dealin’ with the Coalition and makin’ it to this point right here, but I made it. I just wanna say thanks to y’all and I look forward to continue what I started next season. Once again, thanks.
Romeo then get off the stage and returns to his seat.
