For a guy who doesn't drink regularly, he WAS tossin' em back. On Topic: The biggest thing I'll say I like about Oz most is that he doesn't have a defeatist attitude. No matter what, he keeps his head held high. He's fighter. Rough around the edges, loose lipped, but his heart is always in the right place. That and the I just have a blast when he's around, and he's not trying to rush things between us. He's not pushy, but hold it down when he needs to. We had a little bit of a spat today because I had to cancel a date we planned, and I know he was disappointed, but he kept his cool. A girl can always appreciate a man who keeps his cool. |

Alright I have a bit of an issue...so I'll look for some assistance here. *dials 1-800-OZZY* Alright well there this girl right. I've liked her for as long as I can remember, she's one of my best friends...and...fuck. Some people started thinking I liked this other girl because I flirted with her a bit...and today I found out that the girl I actually liked, liked me but stopped when she heard that I apparently liked the other girl. So I'm stuck with myself, still liking her and kicking myself over being stupid. What to do what to do? And Omega, maybe try a library. God knows they're quiet as shit and you can actually pick up some decent looking girls there, even though they may not be 10's they'll lift up your confidence and get you feeling a bit better. |

Hey Omega... don't feel bad about not being able to get a girl... I've got one, and she's legitimately depressed.
No seriously... She really thinks her life sucks, she's been on anti-depressants before, and I only recently made her stop cutting... Do you think anyone can help me with this one? I think the only way to get her back to her normal freakish self is to get her back on anti-depressants, but she's a lazy gal and won't pester her mother about it... And nothing I do is really helping. I can make her laugh on occasion, but thats not enough for the bigger picture... and with school coming up for us, there are more assholes that'll constantly get on her nerves and I'm afraid she might crack under the pressure of it all. Any suggestions?

Just reassure her that in your eyes, she's the best. I tell this to a lot of people and you could tell her it. If someone is going out of their way to make you feel bad...what do you think of that person? If you think of them as a lowlife...then why does a lowlife's opinion matter to you? Why should you care what someone thats out to make you feel bad, thinks of you? Other then that dude...just give'r some lovin' . |

Talk to her mother and see if she'll help.
That's about the only real thing that I can think of that will help.

thanks Alex, that really is good advice. Even though I do that constantly... Its still good advice for anyone to use.
Although sometimes, I offer to throw scones at some of said assholes... that gives her a kick.
EDIT: and yeah... her mother is quite lazy. She knows perfectly well that my girlfriend has problems... but what does her mother do?
Goes to California without her, for two weeks.
She's back now... but she hasn't spent any time at home... honestly, I think I care more about my girlfriend than her own mother.

The only reason it got you in trouble is because you weren't being truthful. There's a difference between telling the truth and being truthful. I dunno, might be a chick thing. But I'm more sympathetic to a guy who'll admit he made a mistake then to one who feels he needs to me macho libre and not fess up.
