Had an especially rough time this last week after just getting back into it. Still re-learning combos just on the pad, anytime I even try to use my fight stick again now I get dismantled lol thought these gave a good insight to pretty how much how EVERYONE online seems to play lol Not saying these characters cannot be used without spamming mind you, I manage to use Zan not half bad. And I've felt first hand Isa Isa's ability to do some damage with Abel without spamming. But still. The majority of online play? Equals these three videos lmfao On a side note, the Abel video was done especially quite well. Definitely worth a watch ;D Aside from Rufus and Guile [Don't use them] it's so damned true. In case you hadn't notice, I like EmpAria's work lol But I shant give up! I shall continue to hone my skills and practice practice practice. Ah, SSF4... you're a fickle beast.

LOL pretty good vids. I hope in the arcade version they buff my man Dee Jay. I highly doubt it though. I suck with Dee Jay but I love playing as him. Zone out with max outs and then hit with a EX up kicks when they jump in

I'm already huffy about the AE of SSF4 Rumor has it they nerfed my poor Cammy's Canon Spike on it's frames, recovery and start up. And some people are saying something about the removal of the Tiger Knee input for it as well. If they do anything to Juri I'll riot and boycott and bitch a whole lot to pass the time till Feb when I can pick up my special limited edition pre-ordered MVC3 ;D /sparkly eyes/

It was only a matter of time before they started to balance out the characters. Some of them have too many advantages, to the point of simply being ridiculous. They oughta nerf Gief as well, and make it so that he can only grab standing opponents. I'm just sayin'.
But awesome vids, especially like how they used the US cartoon Bison when whenever the lyrics said yes. Internet memes FTW, lol.

The Life Of A SSF4 Player.. Just got fucked. The End Is NighIf they do end up releasing a patch, DLC, or even another version of SSF4; A.E. edition... we're screwed yo. Sure the play is clearly typical spam, but it showcases very briefly some of the new found damage potential of both characters shown.. and even worse; What one in particular has as an Ultra /Again/

Well Evil Ryu is fast but is a glass cannon. He has terrible HP, and Oni Is durable but he does less damage then Akuma and his fireballs do not go full screen. Both have some clear flaws that can be exploited by a skilled player .

What they need to do is let you be able to see who it is that your opponent is choosing. If it's a character who you know is spamalicious, then you should have the option to quit that match before it even starts. Just a wild front-end idea. Doubt it will happen though.

Akuma has always been a Glass Cannon. Even though E. Ryu's stun ratio may be lower, his already top tier offense just went through the roof. I understand having to give him the R.D. as per storyline continuity...
But part of me had hoped they'd forget that lol
With the right practice, it is innnnnnsaaaanely easy to snap off a Raging Demon. I haven't played seriously for months and even I can still pull one off from a standing position without so much as the first punch being shown in the sequence. Let alone the ease from a Focus Attack, EX move, block etc etc.
-sigh-
.... Fuckin' shotos lol

Evil Ryu maybe faster and stronger, but against a Deejay or Balrog he still has his weaknesses. Like all Shotos he has a certain range where if you stick there all of his offense can easily be avoided and stuffed. For Ryu that range is just outside of his C.MK. If you stick there, his SRK is useless, and it's easy to jump over his fireball or if he throws a fireball characters that have a move that goes through them can punish him for MAJOR damage.
Oni will be different, the fact that his fireballs have short range means you will have to zone him out and punish him when he tries to get into range.

Incredibly useless information, but after more than a month absence from SSF4. I managed to pull off Challenge Trials 1 - 21 & 23 of Juri, on a D-Pad. FTW.
/Not even going near 24 anytime soon. 22 will present a bit of a trouble on a Pad considering it uses FSE. But still, FTW/
[Enduselessinformation ;D]

Very nice indeed ;D
I'm thinking I may wait until one of the MVC3 hits stores near me to buy another fight stick. Unless I can order one custom modded from one of the Sanwa sites.
Other than that I'm fine with my SF4 Round II Tournament Edition stick for now. But tis nice.
I'm liking the choice of Chun. I likey the Chun ;D

One reason I got it is the turbo function honestly, I like both Chun Li and Honda but am to lazy to learn to piano out Hundred hand slap and Lightning legs, and my current stick, one I got with Tekken 6 is garbage.

Nooooooo... Dun use teh turboness... it's a bad crutch Dx Then again honestly I find linking Chun's LK's off of various combos to be quite easy. But this is because I've been doing it many, many years lol / Goddamn Honda and his high tier status D:</
