I chose SVER not because I thought they were better, but I played all 3 factions since getting it and this has been the one I enjoy the most....besides Soviet firearms rock

Yeah, once I get the points to Respec my character is going to be a Medic/Heavy Gunner.

At present, my character is a Destroyer. Namely because after I upgraded my heavy machine gun, I got the 2nd RPG (The laser guided version) as well as packing along Claymores, improved stealth, and upgrading to get increased health. So I can take a pounding and dish out even more of one. I know people must pee themselves when they see me coming. A few nights ago I found myself surrounded by for Valor soldiers, and wiped them all out solo. Hell, my guy can get hit with an explosive and I'll still have 30 HP left. I've also got resuscitation, because that's without a doubt the fastest way to level up. Each time you heel a team mate, that's 10 xp, add to that if you're near where your squad leader sets up the FRAGO, that's double the xp, so that 20 xp for healing one person. So you can bank SERIOUS points without getting many kills.

I'm focusing on more Heavy gunner, Explosives, and Medics right now. I might move up to athleticism or personal defense. IMO MAG is WAY better then MW2's multiplayer.
Frago XP helps when you squad leader actually gives you frago orders...

That's why it pays to have someone who's at least over lvl 30 as squad leader. Because they higher the level, the more experience that person has. So they know to set waypoints and FRAGOs. I haven't lost a battle yet as Squad Leader, because I actually command my troops to follow objectives, let them know on mic where the waypoint is, and give people particular assignments. Like having snipers stay back a safe distance from bases in Sabotage and pick off stray enemy soldiers trying to sneak in, as well as having my Direct Action guys...of which I'm Direct Action as well...set up as sentries around the base/bunker, creating an impenetrable wall of defense. They might pick off 3 or 4 of us, but when you have 12 guys camped around a bunker, as well as snipers in the distance, you need either major firepower, and airstrike or a deathwish to take us all on. Speaking of airstrikes...I LOVE airstrikes. Especially in Acquisition and Domination. One strike I called in bagged me 45xp. 5xp per solider, you do the math...lol. Dropped it right on one of their APC and killed everyone inside of it. Another trick in Acquisition is parking your APC in a safe spot, but close to your objective. The APC serves as your respawn, so if you get it in a nice spot away from enemy fire, but close enough so that you don't have to travel far, it helps alot, plus when you enter an APC, it replenishes your health and weapons. Usually I'll drive the APC myself, since I've actually become adept at it. (Went back to training mode and spent and hour learning how it maneuvers.) And yes, I have to say that MAG DESTROYS MW2's multi-player. You actually need skill and teamwork to survive in MAG, and even with upgraded firepower, you're not invincible. The combat is more realistic in my opinion. Example, you can't knife someone 3 feet away from you in MAG. Sometimes (Like against myself) you need two swipes to take a guy down who's got on heavy body armor. MW2 right now for me is officially trade bait for either Gran Turismo 5 or GOWIII...lol

Wish I had a PS3 The time I spend on MW2, if it was banked into MAG, I'd be quite the threat myself. I'd die to be involved in a clan that actually cared enough to actually PLAN things, instead of spawn rushing, crate glitching, or just being everyman for himself *thumbs down*

If I wasn't already lvl 15 I'd start over as SVER because Raven is REALLY starting to piss me off.

What set me off is a Domination match where I was the only one trying to get the Frago objectives.

Sorry for the double post but I'm on the verge of just returning the game and getting my money back from Gamestop. I'm sick and tired of playing with idiots.
EDIT: Sorry, I just don't suffer people who don't even try to do the objective given well. I'll admit I'm not very good but god damn it at least I try to do the objective assigned to me weather or not the rest of my squad does even if it means playing Rambo and dying a lot.

It's like I've said over on the MAG forum, the problem is that people...for the most part most of the people who choose Raven, all have the MW2 mentality to battle, which serves you no purpose on MAG. You can't win if you don't meet the mission objectives. You can rack up 20 kills all you want, but you still lose. And someone with 8 kills on a winning side will gain FAR more experience then a kill happy 'Tard one the losing side. Because FRAGOs = Bonus Points. So when you Squad/Platoon/Company leader sets them, following them should be priority one...because you'll get kills regardless. I've been in matches where I barely get 18 kills, and still net over 600+ XP because I complete objectives personally. Hell, when I'm Squad/Platoon Leader I still try to meet the objectives, because that increases my leadership point. (Of which I only need 57 more to be eligible for Company Leader.) The many people I've played with on SVER all "get it". Yes, you get your occasional SVER boneheads, but we are VERY quick to kick those players from the squad. For the most part, the people I've played with, even those not in my clan, all play as a team, meet objectives, and in the long run...win. Within recent days, things have balanced out as far as the contracts (Each PMC holds 2 contracts now) but that's sort of because people started jumping ship when all of the "SVER is to powerful" bullshit started up. But for the most part, in the games I'm part of, we don't dominate, but we do win...because we don't deviate from the objective. And when one plan fails, we improvise, strategize, and come up with another. Just an hour ago I was in an attacking Sabotage mission against Valor. We took points A and B with ease, but as anyone who's seen the Raven Sabotage map knows, C is a literal fortress. There are only 3 points of entry, and in all 3 points THEY have the high ground. We spent a good 15 minutes getting pounded by them, but eventually we came to a plan of attack that involved the platoon fanning out wide, 8 guys going straight up the middle as a diversion, and everyone else hitting the side entrances in force. The Valor boys didn't know what to do, and there was Valor bodies all over the place. By the time the realize what we had done, C was only 10 seconds away from being captured. Easy to say, we won the battle. It takes more then just leveled up weapons to succeed in MAG, which is why I love it 10 times better the MW2. You actually need to think as if you're really on a battlefield. And seeing as I do have some Marine in my blood...lol. All jokes aside, There's some balance coming about the 3 PMCs now, but overall SVER is without a doubt the most organized. Which is ironic seeing as "In Game" SVER would be the "low tech" army of the three. But as the saying goes "The best weapon a soldier has is his mind." I told you that they piss you off eventually........so Ozzy, I know this is a tall order to ask but me and my buddy are solid fps players and always have been and we're team oriented any chance of getting into the clan ?? Tell your friend my PSN ID and have him friend request me, and I'll send you a clan invite myself since I'm an "Officer" in the clan. So far we're 37 strong, and of course looking to bolster the ranks. I think we're actually the largest SVER based clan on MAG right now. We could actually have a full 32 man platoon of just CBK (Cold Blooded Killers) if it were possible, plus we're aligned with some other clans as well. Another reason why SVER generally bashes the competition, we coordinate with people outside of our clan, and with other clans in general. Only requirement we have is that well...you play the game and get better at it. The goal is to have a full clan of veteran class soldiers. 5 of the guys so far have made veteran, with a bunch of the other guys at level 32-49. We're not "elite" in the fact that we destroy everything we see, we do actually get our asses kicked sometimes. But for the most part, we win more battles then we lose, especially when there's more then a few of us in the same game. Don't. Get into a decent clan and you won't have to worry about it. I'll send you a clan invite as well when I get on next.

I've jumped to SVER and it's just as bad as Raven. people just running everywhere killing first without thought to the objective. I don't know if it's just bad luck on my part that I keep getting paired with fucking idiots or what.
