And for the record, my "driving force" statement is predicated on the fact that in 2007, our 1st season my character was the only Diamond to appear on ALL shows. As in every show that was posted for the whole season, Takedown, PPVs and the special events. It was meant in terms of me being the example of being "active" in the context that 3X and Oz have deferred to in their posts in this thread. NOT about my role playing. I'm not the one who hypes myself as being one of the best, other people do. Which say a lot about what I contribute. The reason why Kayn and I are Xtraordinares isn't because of our roleplaying alone. It's because of our consistency (There goes that word again). And I know he shares my very same mentality that we don't care if we're considered good, great or the best. We have fun with what we do here. And that should be the most important reason you join or remain a part of XWA, or any fed. But that's another discussion. There is a certain level of pride one takes in their character, there's no question about that. It's when that pride crosses over into ego that the problem comes. And that happens way to often. There is no ego that goes into what I do here in XWA. Never have, never will. To me, the LEAGUE is more important then the individual. The success of XWA as a whole is more important then any individual accomplishments that anyone has, or ever will attain. That's my stance on things at least.

If I may throw my 2 cents in on the subject. To me there's no problem with being proud of what you do. Its how you apply yourself to the federation is what counts. If your the type that comes in and expects everything to be handed to you because of your fed status elsewhere, or feel like your 'better then this guy or that guy'. Then you might as well pack it up and head out the door. That doesn't work here, or in any other e-federation for that matter. Now am I saying that everyone who has posted in this topic feel they are superior to others ? Of course not. I think everyone has made valid points and to me, it shows that each of you care alot about what you do here. That's a great quality to have, IMHO. I feel that going into the 2009 season. Whether your already a member of the XWA roster, or a new member signing up. Your #1 priority is and always should be about the XWA. There is no "I" in team. No one should ever feel invincible or feel that they are better then anyone else. Because the truth is, everyone has the ability to become successful here (or make that anywhere for that matter). It all boils down to how much work you put into the project. If you come in and give it your best effort in your RP's and have a half-decent CAW ? Your going to have success. Your success may not come immediately, but your hard work will pay off in time. But back on the topic at hand. The only thing that I could suggest that needs to be done for the Diamond Division is we need to see more activity going on, more RP'ing in other words. I commend each of the diamonds that are currently busting your asses to make the Diamond Division flourish. To me, each of you are doing a great job and my hats off to you all. I just would like to see the diamonds who haven't been contributing as of late (and last I checked, are still members here and just haven't RP'd in weeks, a couple of you in months). Without mentioning names, I would love to see THOSE people come back and contribute more. I hope that come next season. The activity will pick up more and hopefully, we'll also see some new faces in the diamond division that will help make the division soar to new heights.
