Also making her way into this meeting now is newcomer Jamie Fury. This was the perfect opportunity to assess some of the competition-or at least see who it was she'd potentially be up against. Her hair as always in a high ponytail she enters the room in in her best suit and blouse. This was official business after all so she had to look the part. It was already getting full it had seemed as 5 other Diamonds were already in attendance. She immediately heads over to shake Sarah;s hand.
Good afternoon Ms. Warfield. Nice to see you again.

All the while with Ashley carrying on with both Bianca and Michelle now, Mari simply looks on and takes in the ambiance. Ashley's little quip did bring out a bit of a giggle from her though. If anyone had the right to talk as much smack as she wanted it was her.

Come to think of it, other then your duets with Bianca here and that Sable girl, you didn't do so hot in 2007, aside from those two matches were Kristin basically had the deck stacked against. Jamie was one of the new Diamonds that Sarah herself had scouted when she took up the mantle of Commissioner, so she had high hopes for the statuesque brunette. She had high hopes for all of them actually, but it was already looking as if that wasn't going to be much to worry about.
Okay, I think that we can get started now. Anyone else who comes along can catch up quick enough. Now, as you all know I'm the new Diamond Commissioner, that is...your boss. The be-all, tell-all, know-all from this moment on. Well if you wanna be official, for as long as I signed the contract with Carmella Blackheart. HA!
I called this meeting first and foremost to get a good look at you girls, because I haven't been formally introduced to some of you yet, but also to get a feel for what it is that you all are about. I can already see from some of you that things will be most interesting. |
