It was a pretty bold statement to make. A pretty interesting move to make. It was something that Sarah had decided to do on the spur of the moment, just to get a real feel for what it was she was going to be dealing with for the year. Having as many of XWA's Diamonds-the female wrestling division that had defined the sport on this continent for their gender-in one room at one time.
As she sat in that posh conference room with all kinds of food and refreshments ready for her guests-she was more terrified than at any moment in her life. 
OK, this will be fine. This is going to be just great. They won't try to kill each other, I know this! These ladies are consummate professionals. It'll be just fine. Ms. Brooks?
She speaks into an intercom to one of the secretaries on the conference floor of XWA HQ...
"Yes Ms. Warfield?"
Be sure to direct any of the girls straight to this conference room. As soon as I have enough of them here I'll get the meeting started and anyone else can jump in and catch up as we go along, OK?
"Yes Ms. Warfield."
And so...she sat. She sat and she waited. The butterflies in her stomach were killing her, so she figured she might drown them with a nice cold beverage.

One of the 1st ladies through the door was Bianca Dianaco. Dressed in a stylish ice blue suit, she enters with an eaqualy stylish pair of ice blue tinted sun glasses on. She takes them off as she greets the new Diamond commissioner.
Mrs. Warfield. Or is that Ms. Warfield? One can never be to sure.

Not to long after, Ashley Diamond makes her way in. She notices who was also in the conference room.

It was only a few short days removed from Marisol arriving back in the USA from a long stint over in Japan, and she was feeling totally invigorated. The past few months, dating back even to the last months of the first season were spent in Tokyo, within the hallowed halls of the Togo Dojo training under one of Japan's best female wrestlers in "The Tokyo Tsunami" Tadako Anenokoji. That time was a god-send for young Marisol. who had learned more about the science of the sport than she had ever learned before. Yes, she had lived in the business alongside her father but through Tadako's teaching she had now learned about the business. It al made her more excited to get back to the XWA now than ever before.
Not too soon after getiing settled in again she learned that the league had made some changes, in particular a new commissioner to govern the Diamond Division specifically in yet another women's wrestling pioneer in Sarah Warfield. She got an e-mail from the Board of Directors stating that Warfield was holding a meeting to day and that all the Diamonds were invited. That was an exciting thing in and of itself since it meant that she was going to be possibly interacting with future allies and opponents alike all at once. It could also be equally disastrous as well, but when was she ever one to think the worst of a situation?
She makes her way to the floor noted and is directed by the secretary to the conference room where Sarah sits in waiting along with Bianca Dianaco.
Hello Ms. Warfield. It's a pleasure to finally meet you!
She extends her hand towards the new authority...

Hello Ashley. I must say it's a real honor to meet you at last. You've got nothing but rave reviews from about every wrestling circle there is. Please...have a seat.
Sarah then graciously shakes the lovely Marisol's hand with a big smile.
The same here, Marisol. I heard that you've been training with Tadako Anenokoji. She and I have had some great matches in the past...she's certainly one of the best around. I wonder what kind of teacher she is?

Ashley intentional takes the seat RIGHT ACROSS from Bianca. She doesn't say a word. She just sits down and stares a crater into Bianca, who was becoming noticeably uncomfortable about it.

Mari responds...
So very calm and patient she was with me. She was less like a trainer or teacher and so much more like a mentor. I've learned a great deal from her actually.
She also acknowledges the others in the room as well, Ashley Diamond and one of her heated rivals in Bianca. Everyone knows there's bad blood between them for the most part, but of course Mari stays neutral and greets them alike.

Ashely anticipated Sarah stepping in to break up the verbal chess match going on between the two fierce rivals.
