Nooo it's not. Most Black Metal is about satanic, pagan, or occult themes.There's also war, suicide, darkness, and winter.  Death Metal usually has satanism, nihilism, mythology, or mysticism for their themes. Ever heard of the death metal band, Nile? They're lyrics are about Ancient Egypt and such. I haven't heard one death metal song involving fucking one's grandma on a pentagram. Death and Black metal are basically a playing style. Sure the style comes with lyrical themes, but some people write about more than the lyrical themes. |

well, not really, Christian Black Metal is more of an oxymoron, however I believe they call that "White Metal" to counteract the "Black Metal".

Oh yeah, about Christian Black Metal...it is called Unblack metal.
Unblack metal (also known as Christian black metal) is the Christian variant of black metal. It is a controversial genre, because black metal itself was developed with the intention of encouraging anti-Right Hand Path sentiment, both musically and socially. It is sometimes referred to as HUBM, or "Holy Unblack Metal".

Underoath is the only decent Christian Metal band..meh...black metal and death metal lyrics are still weird to me nonetheless.
