Sweet, Sweet Victory{Spoilers/Hayley & XXL}

~/~Hayley had struck Destiny with her finisher, also known as the #1 Stunna. Despite Amber getting away from her, she wasn't able to break up the pin in time. Hayley and her celebrated in the ring as Hayley's theme music played over the PA system. Amber was no doubt checking on Destiny after the Stunna. Hayley and her got out of the ring, high fiving one another as the fans cheered loudly at the action that took place in the ring and at the two standing in victory. Two ladies who just the other week had stepped in as enemies. The two ladies walked up the ramp, waving to the fans, and just overall celebrating. They gave one final wave before they passed through the curtains and into the backstage area. She had a smile on her face the entire time. A victory was a victory. Whether she got the pin or Hayley got the win. They both won.~/~

"We did it, Hayley! We showed those two who the true warriors of the ring are.... But... Are you okay? I noticed you holding your stomach a few times..."

~/~As those final words escaped from beyond her lips she stopped walking and turned to Hayley, a concerned look on her face. She had considered Hayley a fellow warrior, but beyond that, she considered her a friend, and it was natural for her to worry about her friends.~/~

Hayley took quite a few gut shots in the match. The whole Tornado elements meant that you had to be on your toes...and often times as had been seen throughout the night, that's impossible. As result, Hayley did indeed take a lot of gut shots and blows to her athletic core, and they were taking effect to some extent. Being the proud fighter she is, she does her best to blow it off.

Smiling at Aiyanna, she hoped to take her mind off of her own physical state and revel more in the victory that they enjoyed that night. It was a hard fought match one that Hayley would review herself eventually to see how well Aiyanna faired in, seeing as there were plenty of times Hayley was preoccupied. The bumps and the bruises didn't mean much to her the moment though.


[glow=red,4,300]It just comes with the territory. Even in victory it takes something out of you...only difference is that you celebrate so hard when you win you don't pay attention to the pain until later...tee hee.[/glow]

"No... I know that, Hayley. But you just seemed like you were in serious pain for a few moments out there. I am just concerned that is all. I know taking pain is apart of this. Pain is apart of everything in life. We have to endure. For those who cannot, they are weak. But... There is also love in life. Many different forms. My concern for your pain I believe can be taken as a form of love, I guess. If you look at it as such."

~/~She nodded to Hayley afterwards and patted her on the shoulder, then motioning for her to come on as she headed off down the hall. Swiping a couple of water bottles off a nearby table, she turned and tossed one to Hayley before continuing down the hall, stopping and looking back to Hayley with a smile on her face, waiting for her to catch up.~/~

She catches the bottle a twist open the top as she follows behind her new friend and partner. Her words, truly genuine indeed. Aiyanna came from an upbringing where family and honor where important. Hayley could believe every word from her lips...she knew it to be true. They'd be like sisters for the past couple of weeks...it looked like 'ol Hay was starting to rub off on her...

[glow=red,4,300]I think I know what you're trying to say, Aiyanna...I really do appreciate it. You know...I feel the same way about you too. I only wanna see you go out there and give your best, win or lose, and not get hurt too badly doing it. It's gonna get real brutal in the ring sometimes...I just want you to be ready for that.[/glow]

~/~She listened to Hayley's words intently as she unscrewed the cap on her bottle and taking a drink of the water held within the bottle. She let out a content sigh at the taste of it. She smiled to her and nodded a bit at her final words.~/~

"Yes, of course. I'm ready for whatever dangers the battlefield may hold. I shall always be ready. I'll be mindful of my surrondings when I'm out there, especially during those certain brutal match types. Do you... Do you think that Destiny woman will be alright? She's obviously didn't know what she was getting into. Do you think she'll be, okay?"

Just a slight hint of that signature Hayley Jonas bravado (if a woman could have "bravado" as it were, Hayley would be her) showing through. She open her bottle and takes a few sips herself.

[glow=red,4,300]No, I think both of those girls will just lick their wounds and come back fighting...that's one of the only things I respect about Amber Gianni. She's one tenacious bitch, no quit in her. That'll sure as hell rub off on Destiny Knight especially if they're going to be rubbing on each other like earlier tonight. If I had a video camera I'd find their hotel room and make a killing on the interent.

Superstar sex tapes are the trend nowadays anyway.

Hey, let's go and see what Xander is up to...probably getting ready for his big title defense tonight. I sure do hope I catch him at the wrong time...tee hee...[/glow]

~/~Sex tape? She wouldn't push the matter. Hayley was very outspoken, she had learned that within the last couple of weeks, and some of the things that came from her it was best not to ask about. She had yet to meet Xander offically, so, this would be as good of time as any. She smiled and nodded, heading down the halls, Hayley no doubt close behind. She looked back over her shoulder and smiled.~/~

"This Xander must be a really nice person for you to mention him as often as you do. Looking forward to meeting him actually. I hope he wont mind us dropping in on him."

She grins uncontrollably at the very mention of her boyfriend, the current National Champion. He'd been gone the whole time Aiyanna stayed with Hayley at her home in New York doing PR work for Carmella Blackheart. It was a good a time as any...she was going to see XXL a lot anyway was Aiyanna, as long as they'd be working and training together. They continued to walk the halls until they reached a locker room with the very initials of the man named Xander Xavier Luther emblazoned on it. Hayley knocks on the door.

Inside of the room, Xander is busy gearing up for his match tonight. Leaning down to tie up his boots, the National Title belt hangs from a the back of a chair when he hears a knock and a peculiar question from his girl.

Like that's ever stopped you before. Get on in here, Hayley!

Hayley opens the door a crack to peek in. Seeing that XXL was clothed she continues to open it, letting herself and her new friend in.

~/~She had seen Xander once before, before she departed from her home, her and her sister's had went into the next town over, stopped in what would be called a bar, and there he was on the television, in a match. Now? Now she poked her head into doorway slowly and carefully stepped into view, raising her left hand at chest level, the palm facing towards him.~/~

"Hello, its a pleasure to finally meet you. Hayley's mentioned you on more than one occasion. I hope we are not interrupting anything."

Being ever the gentleman, Xander accepts her hand with both of his, embracing her touch...not just th typical business handshake, this was a lady after all ;D .


Nice to meet you too. So you're this Aiyanna, huh? She's been talking you up as well over the phone and IM. I saw your match last week, and I was watching your match just now. She's right about you, you're very a talented girl.

~/~Wow, he was certainly the friendly type wasn't he? Despite his gargantuan stature, he was really what Hayley said he was. A big, gentle teddy bear. She couldn't help but smile at his politeness.~/~

"Well, it certainly is a pleasure to meet you in person, Xander. So... Hayley's spoken about me, huh? I must be doing something right to be get talked about."

~/~She smiled once more to him, looking back to Hayley with the same smile plastered on her face, she glanced back to Xander and looked down at her hand, he held it softly between his, but that didn't take away the fact that it was very miniature cupped in his.~/~

"Thank you. I'm still learning the ropes really. But thanks to Hayley, I've already come a good ways as is. Just her words of advice have been enough to get me going in the ring well enough."

Hayley gives off a grin grin and makes her way over to Aiyanna now, resting a palm on her shoulder.

[glow=red,4,300]She's been staying with me at home while you were away. I was wondering if it were alright with you if she...you know, traveled around with us on the road and stayed in the apartment in New York during the off weeks?[/glow]

Xander smiles as he he's them standing side by side. There was an unmistakable energy radiating from them, almost sisterly.
