Sweet, Sweet Victory{Spoilers/Hayley & XXL}

~/~She couldn't help but smile at his words. Welcome to the family. She glanced between Xander and Hayley a few times. She was smiling brightly, brighter than she had been. She had only been in the business a short while and was being welcomed as a member of a family? That basically surprised her to no end. She stared at Xander for a moment before looking to Hayley standing next to her.~/~

"Family? Me?"

She smiles back brightly to Aiyanna and takes both of her hands into her own, looking at her sparkling eyes.

[glow=red,4,300]I'd have it no other way, Aiyanna. Think of us as your second family here. We have nothing but your happiness and your success here in mind. I promise, I've got your back...same with Xander. You're in good hands...trust me.[/glow]

~/~She kept that smile on her face, it couldn't grow any wider than it was. It was showing that she was truly happy. From the brief moments of knowing Xander, she could sense in his spirit that he was a great guy. And from getting to know Hayley from that first day on, she saw that she was a great woman. She was fortunate to be considered a family by them.~/~

"A second family. Not by blood, but by a spiritual link. I like that sounds of that. Thank you both for accepting me as a member of your family."

It really was a happy moment for them, Hayley especially. This whole plce this XWA, even tough it might have had her sworn enemy, it now had a new and close friend...more than a friend. She would devote herself to being there for Aiyanna when she needed it most. There was a spark in her eyes now, but deep down Hayley knew that there was probably still some uncertainty in her mind, not about them, but about this seemingly new world that she found herself in. If she was really walking the path, Hayley would walk it right with her...but for now she takes a seat and kicks back as Xander continues to gear up for his title defense.

~/~She walked to the bench Hayley had occupied and took the spot next to her, looking around the locker room as she did. She listened to Hayley's words intently. Alston was new, or at least to her, she didn't know if Hayley or XXL had ever heard of him, but she would chime in her opinion.~/~

"An unknown enemy can confuse you... Just keep a level head in the battle ahead and you'll do just fine."
