So by now you all know that there is going to be a new game this year. After the whole thing with THQ and the selling off of franchises and the now known fact that 2K Games has acquired the WWE Games license and will in fact be releasing WWE2K14 this year, that basically means we will have a brand new experience this fall. SO what does this mean for the XWA show?
Nothing.
After much deliberation, I've decided that WWE13 will be the last stop for the XWA. It's too much of a hassle having to recreate CAWS, logos & tattoos to have to do the same thing again another year, just for the sake of the show being on the newest game. WWE13 offers enough options and gameplay to make solid shows, so it will be the "official" game for the XWA going forward.
Now does that mean I'm not getting WWE2K14 at all? Well, no. I probably am...in fact, I'm contemplating a brand new project for WWE2K14 that will be more interactive (read: ACTUALLY ONLINE) that players & CAW makers will be able to participate in. More on that towards the release date of the new game. For now though, I'm staying put for the show until further notice.
