The Good News
On a personal standpoint, things are looking up. After temping for months, I've finally landed a permanent position from my employer, which begins in February, so the financial woes I've suffered the last will finally be coming to an end.
The Bad News
There's been a lackluster turnout as far as returning XWA members, and I don't blame anyone. It'd have been easy for anyone to think that after what transpired with me in LA that XWA was dead, so there's probably quite a few people who have moved on.
That being said, I say with some sadness that I will be doing the same, and that XWA as a sim/e-fed is officially closed for business. As much as I would have loved to at least make one last run this year, there just aren't enough people to salvage a season unfortunately.
With the deepest of apologies, I'd like to thank everyone for their support over these last few years. Indeed, XWA has had it's high points and low, but I can say that not a single moment of it wasn't worth it. My only regret is not giving this place a proper finish, but that's not in my hands unfortunately.
The Semi-Good News from The Bad News
After the many weeks of waiting to see what would turn up here, I went through much deliberation in deciding that I was in fact continuing a spiritual successor to XWA in the form of a CAW show of the same name that will be run on Youtube.

I encourage all who read this to subscribe to the channel. In the meantime, I will begin converting this forum into a "Rantboard" style, such as what Goldash007 had/has for his URWL show, which I hope to at least touch in terms of production quality.
