The bare squeak of the.. talking, Artificial Reality Int-.. oh screw it, of 'Doc' - Echos in Katja's ears. She sits in an empty green room. She'd been the Catalyst for what was sure to be a disturbing scene involving her employer. She had no idea what her rousing of Lilith would cause in the woman. Katja was by no means physically domineering. Nor a 'threat' in the eyes of her employer. There was a healthy fear in her of backlash.

And... some small modicum of guilt as well.

You seemed so certain of what you were doing. Humans are quite interesting-

Not now Doc. Not now.

Oddly enough, the Rabbit silences himself in the room. Katja wasn't exactly EXPECTING cooperation, but it isn't unwelcome either. She had betrayed her boss. Someone her own 'Blood' swore up and down was somehow secretly a warm and loving individual.

But, really? Lilith? Katja couldn't fathom how someone with such.. spite, such bile such... I mean she's just-

Knew there couldn't be supreme silence. Katja winces at the words coming from Doc. She sits, more curled really, on one of the sofas in the green room. Distant from her sits Doc. In his cage at the far side of the room. His eyes almost piercing the little Russian Lolita.

... He wasn't my 'Father'.. he was my Step-Father. And yes, I do believe he was wrong.

Why would he lie to you posthumously? Do you believe it a game of whatever remnants perhaps exist of his?

... I think.. HE, believed it. But that doesn't make it so. You've spent time with her. You know what she's like. That woman is... nothing like what he wished to see.

I have spent time with her. As have you. And the collective time we have spent with her, is but a whisper in the wind compared to the time your 'Father' spent with her-

Are you honestly trying to defend LILITH?

Silence quickly fills the room. Katja couldn't.. fault, what Doc was saying. It was.. true. However, the idea of ANYONE trying to defend the actions, and evil intents of that woman was.... upsetting to Katja. There was already doubt within her mind. Not of how Lilith WAS. Not of the evil WITHIN her employer. There was doubt within Katja of how she DEALT with the situation. Doc once more, shatters the short reprieve.

.. I am a being who lives on 'The Logic'. There is Logical explanations for all things, this is something I know too be true. In human expressions, it would be something I 'believe in'. I believe that the simplest logical explanation for how Lilith Creighton is, is 'Balance'.

.... Say what.

A blank face stares back at Doc. ==_==. Katja wasn't even upset at the words coming from him, it was a legitimate... say, what? Balance? Lilith was anything BUT balanced. The amount of IMBALANCE within that woman could solve WARS. Just extract the imbalance within Lilith and inject into the Middle East and the counterbalance of the Universes' pull would set all things right. Katja was almost on the brink of laughing out loud-

She, is the 'Balance'. There are 'Good' people. There are 'Bad' people. There are 'Saints'. And there are 'Evil' people. There exists between these kinds of people, ones who blur the lines.

... You believe Lilith blurs the line between 'Good' and 'Bad'?..

A soft sigh leaves the furry companion in the all but empty room. Katja remains curled up upon the sofa, watching the television lighting the darkened Green Room. Saying she was 'sacred' was a understatement. Katja was screwed. She did what she believed was right. She stands by that. But that guy who stood in front of the Tanks in Tienanmen Square did what he thought was right, and still most likely got run over as soon as the cameras got cut. Katja was a small little Cat in the grandiose Web someone like Lilith could weave. She wasn't 'scared', she was fucking terrified.

.. I do not believe Lilith will end your life, if that is the basis of your fears.

That so doesn't help.

She grabs hold of one of the cushions, closing it up against her chest as she buries her face down against it. She'd read the things in the file her Step-Father had left her. She knew of the things The Creighton Family was capable of. Was she insane? Did she think just because Lilith was flying 'solo' she'd be able to stand up against someone that...

Insane, would be the word you're looking for.

Katja's eyes shoot up from the cushion, glaring at Doc across the room. She bites down on her bottom lip. Her mouth opens...
.. And words fail to release themselves in the silence embarking itself upon her.

You've never experienced this have you? In your young life. Fear. You do not know what it is, it is foreign is it not? You cannot even speak. Where is the resolve in this? You paint a disastrous Demonic image of 'Lilith Creighton' in your mind, as if she were the true 'One' of her own namesake.

Do you believe her to be a whole-hearted reincarnated Demon, young one? A beast that prowls in the night? Feasting upon the souls and flesh of children as a 'Lamia'?

Silence. More silence compounds it's folly. Katja's throat was starting to become dry. If she were able to step back, think with logic. Those things were impossible. She knew that. She knew it. Lilith was a human.. now. But she was one none-the-less. The small Chibified Russian swallows hard before softly shaking her head and digging her fingertips against the soft plush sofa cushion she clutched with such desperation. A soft voice finally emerging from the depths of her being.

... I'm sure she'd love it if people believed that..

The Egotism of the human known as 'Lilith Creighton' is nothing short of amazing. But it is the same as all Egos that exist within the known Universe;

It is but a self-defense mechanism.

You have proven this to be true already young one. Simple sheets of paper have crushed the outer shell. Mere words given as 'advice' to an 'enemy' have the potential to destroy the outside 'World' Lilith keeps within her palms.

Is this not what you wanted?

The question seems to ring, rattle--within Katja's ears. A hint of shame, followed by disgust and guilt can be labored into it's breadth. Katja stares across the room. The eyes of Doc almost seem to glisten and illuminate the small recesses of his cage. He looked so...

Angry.

... Who are you.. Doc.. ?

The question came as a surprise to Katja herself. As much as she hadn't wanted to ask it. From the moment she and Lilith found Doc in their hotel room, she'd never wanted the question spoken aloud. The curious nature of the fact she asked 'Who'.. and not 'What'..

....

Was something she'd be regretting, for years to come.

Katja had been pacing back and forth for a good long while now. Her hair frizzled and frayed at certain ends due to how much she'd been running her fingers through it. The news came... as a surprise. This would be the easiest way to describe it. She stares across the room at 'Doc' in his cage, then again after what she'd just heard.

I guess it'd be easier to call him-

It wasn't often someone used her English name. It felt oddly satisfying but disturbingly terrifying at the same time. Ha.. she never did get to explain that to Lilith... she was starting to wonder if she ever WOULD at this point. Katja slowly sits back down on the sofa... breathing in deeply before her eyes narrow into slits before the darkened and truly breath-stealing glare of Doc.

It seemed like more research into Lilith's files were necessary for Katja to truly understand anything about the kinds of things her employer had been involved in... and with that thought, yet another wave of 'Oh God what have I done' washes over the small Chibi Russian Assistant. She holds her forehead in her hands, able to feel the droplets of sweat slowly forming themselves against the creases of her small slender fingers. She closes her eyes tightly before trying to shake away the unease of the situation, of this night...

Of what she'd just learned.

... Everything will be fine.. Lilith.. needs to learn what it's like..

Katja grinds her teeth slowly, ohhhh there's that long dormant rage. She knew taking Lilith as an employer would cause this kind of feeling. Especially after Iggy had disclosed so much Katja herself HADN'T known about in his last memoirs, and Lilith's file-...

Katja jumps up from the sofa in the green room with haste. She couldn't believe the unmitigated mistake she'd made. Jesus tap-dancing Christ. She bolts across the room, snatching up Doc's cage in a flurry. Ignoring the quizzed look and string of questions that followed after. She was screwed. Beyond screwed. She'd taken everything of hers out of Lilith's suite at One Penn. Everything she needed, hell she even took Doc. Everything..

Except one.

Little one, Little one! What are you doing why the haste-

I left it, I left it in the suite!

She hadn't told Doc nearly a quarter of what was in those documents. But from the following silence even he seemed to get the severity of the situation. Lilith was already pissed off and mentally/emotionally unstable. You know, more so than usual. If she ended up finding those memoirs after the show...

How on Earth are you supposed to do that? She won't even be going back to the Suite until after the show, we are in Michigan-
