Okay, this is a bit of a rant post, but seriously... I just need to rage at something.
My issues with GFWL first started when I bought Bulletstorm a few weeks back, I didn't really know what GFWL was, but I did know I wanted to play that game, so I figured it must not be that bad. So upon installing Bulletstorm with no hassels I went to run it... but hten It prompted me to log into Windows Live... I was a little bit confused there, considering that I didn't even WANT to play online, I just wanted to play the single player campaign...
So after the ordeal with installing GFWL, setting up an account and finally getting it to accept my code, which took a majority of the first night I got the game, I was finally set. So the setup was the main issue I had with it. I haven't even bothered to see how much of a Pain in the ass online with GFWL is.
So with that set, I have steam to play CoD:MW2 (college life, gotta get used to these damn FPS games... everyone plays them), and when I opened up steam last night, I saw that Batman: Arkham Asylum was on sale for $7.50... What a steal right? So I bought it and started the download overnight.
I awoke to find that steam had downloaded the complete game, I was excited! Time to play as a dark knight! So I hit play.
BmLauncher.exe has stopped working.
Wut
=/ I just don't get it, what is it with these games and me just not liking to install? If I spend my money on a game, I expect it to fucking install without me having to jump through 15 hoops to get it to actually work.
I have it installed and all that jazz, but the launcher itself just won't work... I can use the other exe and get the game to actually start up... but with that, I can't change the control settings and it doesn't have any settings applied for keyboard and mouse...
Update: scratch that, tried to verify my game data using steam, and now it won't even work with the .exe .
God I fucking love steam.
I don't know T_T I must have bad luck or something... but I can't seem to find any sort of help that actually works for Arkham Asylum online, I'm just glad I didn't waste a full 60 bucks on a game that doesn't work.
