from the moment the doors to the arena opened to the fans untill this moment, XWA has gave them every pennies worth and the show was barely half over, as everyone was watching and waiting for the next moment to happen, it did as sorrow by flyleaf played over the PA system. then only for the second time in over a year kimberly angelos stepped from the back to a huge reaction and the sight of welcome back signs.
her walk down the ramp ends as she now stands in the ring holding a mic, the music fades and kim takes it all in as chants for her echo, bringing her emotion to the surface.
first of all....thank you, thank you all fans of myself, of XWA, or this great sport i thank you.
kim takes a deep inhale and continues
ive been asked alot of questions lately why did i leave XWA?, why did i come back? and maybe one day i will let everyone know where ive been but the reason i came back. its simple i bleed XWA this place is my home ive been here from almost day one maybe not every step of the way but this is where i belong.
kimberly walks around inside of the ring gathering her thoughts
i think i proved i still belong here in XWA and i will continue to prove i belong here.....but there is another reason why i came back. i want the diamonds title, i came 3 seconds to doing it in year one, after winning the first Diamond Devil's Playground back in 2007 and loosing at Xgames. but like a friend of mine said "you can only move as fast as the one in front of you" so untill i lead the pack with all the diamonds nipping at my heels and not in front.
i have to move at their pace and thats not how i do things these days...so starting with my win at the troops show, i will climb that ladder and before Xgames is over this season, and with no distractions like self pity, fear, or relationships.. i will be the diamonds champion.

Then, Tiffany Masterson's theme song "Make Me Bad" began to play. The fans suddenly start to boo as the cocky British "princess" makes her first appearance this season. She stands on the stage with a mic already in hand, but interestingly enough she's clapping her hands as she walks out from backstage. It was a fake, sarcastic applause though and everyone in the arena could tell.
Let's hear it for Kimberly Angelos, ladies and gentlemen! What a truly touching and inspirational speech there. But you know something? I hardly even know who you are.
In fact, I had to look up old...and I do mean old video footage just to see who you are, and I would say that you were only mildly impressive at best. You had a good run, "back in the day", but now like so many others all you can do is hold onto the past.
She looks through the crowd, shaking her head at their incessant booing.
That's because you're best day are behind you Kimberly, not in front of you. You honestly believe that you'll become the Diamond Champion? You don't even have a bloody chance to become the Pearl Champion later this month! You, in the same ring with two other women who're physically more talented than you can ever even imagine...and you think you can out-match them?
The very fact that you're in that match at Madness is a testament to your whole career...because your career has only been one lucky break after the other.
That's the reason I'm out here right now, to offer the chance to show you that everything you've gained in the XWA has been because of luck. To prove that if there's anyone in the Diamond Division destined to become the new "queen of wrestling", it's me!
And more importantly, to show everyone...especially Carmella Blackheart, that I deserve to be in the Pearl Championship match a whole bloody hell more than anyone else she chose!
Matt: What? What is Masterson talking about? Kim, Marisol and Sonya were chosen because they won their matches at the Tribute show. You can't make a more fairer decision than that.
Buzz: You think she cares? Tiffany Masterson is as spoiled as they come. She's been silver spoon fed her entire life! She thinks she deserves everything handed to her...

kim watched silently as tiffany talked. after the brit was done kim smiled and nodded in agreement
you know what tiffa....no, miss masterson you are right, my spot at madness should be yours, i mean if miss blackheart was giving it to the ones who showed they deserve it, there no question it would be you. tiffany masterson the first one eliminated by me no less.
the crowd pops as kim gives tiffany a what the hell is wrong with you kinda look
you see tiffy, winners go onto to things big things, not little girls who feel like throwing a hissy fit every time they loose, because face it, if your gonna do what we all know your gonna do you will be once again looking up at those lights in the rafters.

Buzz: Well, Kim DID eliminate Tiffo from that very match...it's true, it's true!
Normally, Tiffany probably would have caught a hissy fit. She so does not like it when things don't go her way. But she stands there instead letting her blood boil under her skin. If she'd have put the mic to her lips any sooner, you'd probably have heard a snarl.
Eliminating me...eliminating me...was probably your luckiest break of all! In fact, I wouldn't call it luck, I'd call it a smart strategy on your part. Wouldn't it make sense in that kind of environment to go after the one who poses the greatest threat?
Tiffany temporarily begins to appeal to the crowd as if she's making some sort of valid, valiant point.
If you were on a battlefield, would you go after the one with the rifle first, or the one with the rocket launcher?
Matt: Do you even believe the words coming from her?
Buzz: Pretty sure she does...
Tonight, I want...no...demand the opportunity to show you just how much I do outclass, outmatch and more importantly outgun you, Angelos. I'll prove to you that one on one, I am the brightest shining Diamond on the planet.
Dare I say...The PARAGON of the XWA!!!
Buzz: A "paragon"?
Matt: To those who don't know, that's defined as a " A model of excellence or perfection of any kind", or more specifically, a Diamond that's considered "unflawed". A bold statement from Masterson indeed...

kim tilts her head confused at the battlefield analogy and thinks for a moments
i can see where your coming from on the rifle verse rocket argument your making, but your no rocket launcher in this war miss thing...your a water pistol.
maybe i didnt take out the biggest threat maybe i took out the person who have had the people watching on TV turning the channel and boring the crap out of the troops.
kim smirked staring at tiffany
you have your match and it will prove that the brightest shinning diamond you are is just a cubic zirconia....just a fake rock trying to be something better then its self

Buzz: Wow! Kim's a whole lot more fiesty than ever before, isn't she? I like it!
Tiffany was none too pleased at Kimberly for her response. The crowd seemed to have enjoyed it though. The only other thing she hated more than not getting her way was being mocked by ones who she believed were levels down from her wealthy, privileged self...which was pretty much everyone. A side effect to engaging in the wrestling profession to say the least, was having to contend with such confident personas, even though she was ever more confident that she could upstage them all one way or another.

Ho, ho, very funny Kimberly. We'll see just how clever you are later on when you have to contend with me all by your lonesome. I assure you that I don't have to try to be better...I simply put am.
I'm faster. I'm smarter. I most certainly must be stronger than your petite little self. I'm going to beat you from pillar to post!

Her theme plays again as she outstretches her arms to the air in a narcissistic manner. She slowly backed her way behind the set again as the camera tightened in to show the confident grin on her face as the announce team closed out this "scene".
Matt: Well, you can't really pick a favorite on paper in this match-up, but I think we've got an idea who the popular choice is going to be.
Buzz: I hope Kim knocks the "princess" down another peg tonight. She's got some nerve...

kim watches as tiffany leaves, keeping her eyes on the ramp untill she is no longer seen before kim passes the mic back as her music plays once again over the PA system, posing for the crowd before leaving herself, shaking the hands of fans and giving a kid a hug along the way. posing once more for the crowd kim exits though the curtain as the music fades
