Step down? It's a step up, at least in his last promo the Rock didn't say: Go eat your fruity pebbles, you YABBA DABBA BITCH! lol/
Side note: Does anyone feel they are letting Rocky push PG past their normal limits?

I think so. Hopefully with Rock back, and Austin on Tough Enough , we'll be able to do away with the PG and bring back the days when WWE was actually entertaining again. lol

It's been explained time and time again, it's not the PG rating that's hurting WWE, it's the way they use it. Plus, PG isn't going away anytime soon, unless Mattel decides to eliminate its contract w/ WWE.

That's why Rock has to tone it down on Cena. Believe me when I say that he could be doing a lot worse to Cena if he wanted to. They can't let him unload Attitude style because of PGWWE, and because they actually want to make it seem like Cena is actually competition.
Did you notice how Cole was trying to amp up what Cena was saying last week? Rock is toned down and Cena's hyped up. WWE is trying to stage this war of words like it's an even match when we all know it's not.

I have to agree with the above comment(s).
WWE's PG era isn't going anywhere. So if you're a hater of all that. Best get used to it lol. But in a way. Being PG is a good thing from a marketing standpoint for the WWE. Its a good, yet wise business move on there part. More sponsors & more business avenues for WWE that they couldn't get before when they was 'Attitude'.
In all honesty. I felt the 'Attitude' era was simply a phase. Plus, at the time. WWE needed something to fire back at WCW. When WCW was #1 & whipping WWE's ass in the ratings. So WWE decided to get edgy & go in a different route.
Back on topic. I know people would want to see Rock/Cena at WM this year. But I don't think its gonna happen. Cena/Miz seems to be the direction WWE wants to go in. With using The Rock as either a Special Guest Referee, or an outside enforcer (think Mike Tyson's role in WM 14). Have The Rock screw over John Cena at WM to cost him his WWE Title opportunity. Then from there, you build up from there to SummerSlam.
Since SummerSlam this year is taking place in Los Angeles, CA. Which is The Rock's current home state. Why not have the match there, and plus. Seeing as how SummerSlam is there 2nd biggest event of the year. Why not make this year's SummerSlam extra special? Give the event that one big match to draw in PPV buy's.
