New Business, New Beginning. {Invite}

// Standing on the walkway that led towards the entrance ramp 'Becca sighed loudly. This was the first time in years that she would step out into an arena like this. It certainly felt as nerve wracking, if not more so than the first time she did this. Trying one last attempt to shake the nerves out, she nodded uneasily to the attendant standing next to her. Looking at him, she heard him mumble a few words into his headset and then give her the thumbs up.

Do or Die, as they always say. She took a deep breath and walked towards stage where she heard her new theme song "I'll Survive" by Lacuna Coil blast over the PA system. She could only imagine how clueless the crowd was right now, but then again it was the season opener so there were bound to be new faces.

Taking that final step out onto the stage she walked out any sense of unease or nervousness seemingly gone as she smiles upon hearing the roar of the crowd. Obviously there were some that remembered her from Toronto, but most of them probably had no idea who she was.

She made her way down to the ring as she high five'd many outstretched hands. When she finally reached ring side she grabbed a microphone that was resting on the apron and hopped into the ring. As she stood in the middle of the ring she soaked in the remaining applause and cheers. Her pop obviously wasn't as large as it used to be, but hell she was surprised it was as big as it was.

Once the pop finally died down she raised the microphone to a reasonable level and spoke for the first time in years to a packed arena. //

How's it going X - W - A!?

// The pop returned, but this time it was much larger. It was probably one of the cheapest ways to get a reaction from the crowd but, she had to start with somethin'. //

For those of you who don't know or haven't heard of me, I'm Rebecca Skye. I often go by 'Becca to those that know me well enough and I'm one of the newest XWA Diamonds on the current roster.

Now you may be asking, why I'm out here introducing myself like this. The truth of the matter is that I'm out here to find someone to test myself against. I want to give you all a GREAT show here tonight.

// Of course that yielded a great reaction, as Becca smirked and looked around at the crowd. Seeing people starting to warm up to her already. It was a good sign that after all she's been through, she may not have lost her touch.//

And to give you fans that Great show, I'm out here asking any Diamond in the back who wants to put on a phenomenal match. It could be anybody! From any newcomers as myself to seasoned Vets in XWA, I'll be more than glad to take on anybody.

[Manami Kuroguchi]

-Within a minute someone had answered Rebecca's challenge as Manami's theme starts to play over the PA. As she slowly walked out onto the stage dressed in her new entrance attire she places her hands on her hips and looks around at the capacity crowd. Receiving a large pop, she slowly starts to walk down the ramp, eager to accept Rebecca's challenge.-

Goldman: "It looks like Manami has decided to accept Rebecca's challenge. This could be a interesting debut for the newcomer."

Buzz: "Hopefully we see Manami from last season, from what my sources tell me she has tried to change her ways and become a goody goody."

Goldman: "We'll just have to see, but from how the crowd is reacting they seem to think she has indeed changed her ways."

Buzz: " And their all stupid...except for the ones who are smart enough to like me..."

-Walking up the stairs, Manami quickly hops over the top rope and into the ring. Kneeling down, she grabs a mic that was set in the corner of the ring as her music is cut and the crowd quiets down enough for her talk.-

" It's good to be back here in front of an XWA crowd. "

-As soon as the cheap pop subsides, Manami continues.-

" I would be honored to step in the ring with you Rebecca. You might not know this but I was a fan of your's when you were in Toronto. It's great to see you here in XWA, I would be honored be your first match here tonight. "

// Hearing that Becca couldn't help but smirk. At least somebody knew who she was. But the bad part was, she knew who Manami was too. She had seen her 'heel phase' as it seemed, so Becca was cautious to say the least. She had experienced her fair share of "Bad Girls" in her short stint in wrestling. //

So, I take you're over that whole 'Bad-Girl' phase huh?

// Obviously knowing what the answer was due to how Manami had acted in her time in the ring today. Smiling with a slight air of confidence that she hadn't felt in god knows how long, 'Becca added.//

Well if there is anybody on the Diamond Division roster that could give me a run for my money Manami, it would definitely be you.

// The confidence wavered slightly as she gulped. Feeling the need to add one last note. //

But, don't let this physique fool you Manami. It's been years since I've stepped inside a ring. But I certainly don't expect, or want you for that matter, to go easy on me.[/center][/color][/i]

[Manami Kuroguchi]

-Smirking herself, Manami quickly replies. Her own confidence visibly shooting up.-

" Don't worry win or lose, you'll know you've been in a fight after the match is over. Having not been in the ring for several years or not, you better bring every ounce of fight you have, because if you don't I'll drop you on your head without batting an eyelash."

Goldman: Manami has essentially told Rebecca to bring her all. If she doesn't, tonight could be a very disappointing debut for this young lady.

Buzz: I don't care who wins, I'm just hoping for a wardrobe malfunction...
