"I'm here to see the President?"
It came out as question, because she was nervous and very under dressed for the surroundings she found herself in. Fading blue jeans, and a Pink T-shirt featuring shooting stars did not even qualify as business casual. She couldn't imagine any wrestler coming up here and not being absolutely awed and self conscious. Her old Fed in Japan? The office had been a 60 year old coffee shop that the tourists didn't go to. The secretary? She had been the cashier and the mistress of the "President"... but they never called Mr. Sato, "President".
"One moment please."
The secretary was very pretty, and had an intelligent face. It was obvious she was very professional. Justice smiled at her awkwardly, and then slowly looked down at her shoes while Candice finished up a mass e-mail before buzzing the next room.
"Ms. Blackheart? Ms. Kamada is here to see you."
Justice grimaced hearing her family name spoken out loud. She hadn't used it since her arrival in America. It was all part of her 'Making it on my own' campaign. Hearing her family name just then did remind her of her bull headed father who still had not written to her. But it didn't change her resolve at all.
"It will be just a moment."
"Thank you."
Her thoughts shifted back where they needed to be, and that was Titanisha. She had a very strong feeling that Jamie was going to be in for a long war with this woman. Every encounter was going to be important. If Justice could give her any information, and kind of edge? She knew it tilt the scales in Jamie's favor. Justice even thought about winning. If she could knock this beast back? Jamie's confidence would grown and Titanisha's would falter. It would also buy Jamie an extra 2 weeks to heal, at least. Not that she would share that information with anybody. But all these little things added up in Justice's mind. She knew this is what she had to do.

Asuka Kamada, aka Justice Asuka...one of the number of new, young talents to make their way into the XWA over the course of the offseason. Though contracted through her many scouts around the world, Carmella had yet to meet the young woman in person. She had seen her ringwork in video form, as recorded by said scouts themselves at the local shows she did in her hometown, but that was pretty much it...so there was a genuine air of interest when Carmella's secretary announced that she had arrived to her office.
Please send her in, Candice.
As Justice came through the door, Carmella got up from her seat and walked from around her desk to greet her. She could see that Justice was awestruck by the grandiose desogn of Carmella's office...it did have a tendency of taking people's breath away. With a smile, she bows formally and then reaches out her hand to shake Justice's.
It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Kamada-san. I've heard a lot of good things about you.

"Thank you very much. Please, call me Justice"
Justice returned the bow and shook Blackheart's hand. She knew nothing about the woman in front of her, except for what she saw with her own eyes. She was obviously successful in ways that Justice couldn't begin to understand and she appeared much younger than she could have imagined. When you say 'Company President', gray hair usually came to mind. But it hadn't come to Blackheart's fiery locks just yet.
"Thank you very much for the job."
She had written Blackheart a letter when she had arrived. But it was always better to say it person and face to face.
"It has really changed my life."
She shook Blackheart's hand in thanks before finally letting it go. If anything, she hoped Blackheart could see that she was being sincere and not being nice to get her way. Not that that would have worked anyway.

Oh? You're more than welcome then...Justice.
She did. In the years she had dabbled in the pro wrestling industry, she could tell genuineness from facade. Some were wolves in sheep's clothing, conspirators and glory hounds. Some were self-diluted egotists with an over-abundant sense of entitlement. The ones who feel as if they're doing the business as service just by standing there. But every so often, there came those who came off as genuine. Real in what they said, and thus real in what they sought. From her soft spoken words, Carmella had a hunch that everything coming from Justice's lips came from her heart.
We can only assume that it'll be a change for the better, hmm? Please...have a seat.
Justice Asuka wasn't a highly touted "free-agent". She wasn't a "blue-chip" independent prospect. She was just a girl from a small-little wrestling promotion in Shizuoka, Japan who one enterprising scout saw potential in. She had endearing qualities the ring. She was fit physically and had a sound, fundamental ethic towards wrestling. Most Japanese wrestlers shared that quality, hence their reputation of being skill-wise the most complete competitors in the ring. So what was it that made her so notable? There were in fact many other promotions in the country, and ones that were far bigger.
That's what Carmella wondered before she saw the footage of Asuka's ringwork. That's when she saw everything her scout in Japan saw. The genuineness. The purity of a girl who had nothing to do with the big, bright lights and jam-packed venues. She just enjoyed wrestling, and was fairly good at it. That's all you really need.
So, what can I do for you today then Justice? Have you been doing alright here in the States so far? From my files here I see this is your first time outside of Japan...

"I think so. Jamie Fury has been showing me around the city and the XWA. It has helped a lot. She has been very kind to me, and Amber Gianni too."
Before she had met Jamie she had been on the brink of a bad place. She had been very close to packing her bags and returning home. It had all been too much: culture shock, jet lag, Lilith and American wrestling. But Jamie Fury had thrown her a life line, allowing her to get her own feet underneath her.
"That's why I am here. Now that I have my feet underneath me,I need to repay a debt, and you can help me do that."
Justice had taken the closest chair, but sat on the edge of it. It kept her posture straight and respectful. She was still nervous, but she wasn't scared. She knew what she wanted to do, and once her mind was made up? She would not turn back. Stubborn, just like her own Father. She took a moment to collect her words, then came out with it.
"I. I want to fight Titanisha at the season premiere in Michigan."
The words kind of spilled out of her, one after the other. But they were now free and hanging in the air between them. Justice put on her best 'determined' face to show Blackheart that she had not only the words, but the famous Puro fighting spirit too.

Titanisha?
There was another name that had came up in the reports she was getting back from her staff, and it hadn't been at all good things. Carmella was well aware of the unexpected attack on Jamie Fury by the woman from London.
I would imagine Jamie probably wants to get her hands on Titanisha more than anyone else. So why are you wanting to face her? Don't think that I'm not going to fulfill your request, it's just that I'm a little curious.

Justice looked at Blackheart, wondering what she should tell her. Justice would never actually lie to the woman that had given her a job and, even more importantly, an opportunity to make her own name. But she couldn't tell her that Jamie was injured from now the infamous encounter. There was no telling what Blackheart would have to if she found out her Diamond Champion was broken. Finally Justice looked a little confused and spoke the very simple truth.
"That is what friends do, isn't it? We stand up for each other."
Justice leaned forward in her chair, a little fire in her voice.
"Titanisha needs to know if you attack someone with no warning that their friends are going to stand up and do something about it. People like Lilith need to know if they shake around their small assistants, that the real human beings in this company are going to step in between them."
Justice stopped herself, she could feel the angry color in her cheeks before she realized she was talking about a company that the woman in front of her owned. Her voice dropped a little.
"That's right, isn't it?"

So that's what it was. "What was right." It couldn't have been laid out any simpler, and to no surprise it came from someone who's nickname happened to be "Justice".
Carmella leaned over to one side of her seat, resting her arm on the arm of the chair as she took in what Justice said. There was something in it that she really took notice of. The business was full of adjectives. It seemed like an almost requisite habit of the people within to be referred to as something or another. There were predators. There were monsters. There were soldiers. There were schemers. There were fighters. There were warriors. But what did she call herself just now?
A human being. A real human being. Now that was unique. In the end, that's all anyone was, no matter how much hype they built or glory they gained. They all were just flesh and bone...feelings and emotions. All just...people. It doesn't get any realer than that.
I see. That's a pretty clear picture you're painting Justice. I'm familiar with Ms. Lilith and her "antics" as well. Costed me a few thousands dollars and display case...but that's not the point. The point is, the fact that you're willing to stand up. There are those out there who if they aren't "regulated" will go around and cause all kinds of trouble. That's why it's good to have people like you, who will fight the good fight and show them they can't have it their way.
I know a little something about that myself actually. Might not have been in wrestling, but I've got a sense of "justice" just like yours...Justice.
She giggles at the irony of the namesake that held so true in herself.
I must say you're quite the surprise.

Justice blushed a little. It seemed her words and feelings had reached the President. She was glad Blackheart could understand her, and she was glad she didn't have to let Jamie's secret out of the bag. Now if she could just 'surprise' Titanisha. The longer she could hold out, the more Jamie could study her. The more damage she could do, the greater chance that Jamie's back wouldn't come back to haunt her. If she could beat Titanisha? It would be just like a chair shot across that woman's back. She would know that she was in for a war too. Everything would be even.
"I just hope I can surprise Titanisha, too. But I promise you, I will give her everything I have. I will give the XWA the best match I can too."
This was Blackheart's business after all. She didn't think she would get her match if it didn't at least have a chance at being watchable. There was no doubt she was the underdog. But being smaller or even scared was not an excuse for not doing the right thing. Justice knew that much, and helping her friend was going to give her a bigger advantage than three steel chairs taped together could.

I don't have a doubt in my mind that you'll give 110% everytime you step into the ring. Men & women like you are truly the backbone of this business. Without you, all we have are a bunch of gum-flapping wahoos that the fans would mob and stone to death.
She giggles again. Wouldn't that be something? Somebody who irritates the fans so much that they jump the barricades, storm the ring and beat the hell out of them. She made a mental note to have extra security at ringside whenever Smith or Creighton got airtime.
I'll see to it that the bookers and the GM know of this match arrangement for the premiere show. I'm quite sure you've prepared yourself mentally and are still preparing physically, but I'll wish you good luck anyway, Justice.
Carmella rose from her seat again, offering another handshake to seal the deal.

"Thank you very, very much."
She stood up and shook Blackheart's hand with enthusiasm. It was obvious she was excited and happy at the turn of events in the office. But she was equally excited that there was a place for her in this company. They didn't all have to be loud, psychotic, lesbian gangsters. They didn't have to blog or take off their clothes. They didn't have pick on smaller people. They could try to do the right thing instead. They could be the other side of the coin.
"For everything."
Justice added sincerely before she turned to leave. She had come for a match but had found more it seemed. While trying to answer Blackheart's simple question, she had found some answers of her own. How was she going to make in the XWA? She was going to 'fight the good fight' and she was going to show 'them' that they couldn't have their way without that good fight. First Jamie and now Ms. Blackheart, Justice felt herself changing just like she had written about in her diary. The people around her were helping to bring her out of herself and into the XWA.
