Hello. I'm Syrus The Entertainer...the reason for the season, and this...is
STE TV
It's been a while, but your favorite wrestler's favorite wrestler is back on the airwaves once again, and must I say American...this business needs me Murbarak needs witness protection!
OH YES HE DID.
Like you didn't see that coming. You know something, this thing in Egypt is big. I mean, real big. Now you have other Arab countries rising up to get their rights. It's democracy in action, people...and you know what's the coolest thing about it? The USA hasn't stuck it's nose into it. We're just lettin' it ride.
That's what happens when you have a Black man as President. See if it was "W", or one of the other white boys, they'd have already sent like 10,000 troops in talking about "we have to protect freedom". But not Obama. Just like a Black man, he sees to people settling their differences...They're pushing, they're shoving, they're shouting and he's like "handle your business, just make sure you don't bring it my way, cuz then imma have to whip all your asses." I'd have said the same thing!
***
But okay, let's talk business. Let's talk XWA Season 5. 2011. New Year. New Era. Things have changed big time around the old stomping grounds. Everything's fresh and clean and new now. And everyone and their mama is going viral. Well, not my mama, she hates technology. ;D
Blogs, columns, radio shows. Everyone's letting their voice be heard, and it's like DAYUM!!! You know something America? In a couple more years, I think this internet thing is gonna really take off. I mean it! It's really starting to catch on now, ain't it?
You know who seems to be on everyone's mind though. This dude John Smith. Where'd he come from? I don't know...but I like him.
-Audience-
Yes, I said it...I like him. Why? Because I hate him for reasons other than him being a prototypical "heel". Oh you know what I'm talking about. You know WHO I'm talking about. Everyone over the last 5 years who's come along trying to be the "baddest", or the "teller of it like it is" or my favorite, the "smack talker". Smith isn't any of that. He's too damn grown to care, and that...that's ORIGINAL people! So yeah, I like him because of why I don't like him, if that makes any sense.
Ever been to his building though? Smith Financial Group it is I believe. I think he's like that Chinese dude at the beginning of "The Dark Knight". Somebody needs to check his books! Anyway...I heard someone put up the 10 Commandments in the place and Smithy had it taken down because a sign that says "Thou Shalt Not Steal", "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery", and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building full of lawyers and "business consultants" would create a hostile work environment.
But seriously...I bet he plays golf. He must play golf, I mean...he's rich...he's white...he has to play golf! That's like a mandate or something, isn't it? Anyway, I tried to play it a few times myself, but I just can't do it. I don't know how Tiger did it for as along as he did, cuz stuff about it is just...dirty. I'm listening to some of the things guys are saying on "the greens" and I'm saying to myself...
"ew".
That brings me to a special segment of the show...cuz I can bite off of anyone I damn well please, Letterman. So here's the my first
TOP 10!
10 Things In Golf That Just Sound Too Damn Dirty
10. Damn, I missed the hole again.
9. Hold up. I've got to wash my balls.
8. Just turn your back and drop it.
7. You have a nice stroke, but your follow through leaves a lot to be desired.
6. Lift your head and spread your legs.
5. My hands are so sweaty I can't get a good grip.
4. After 18 holes I can barely walk.
3. You really wacked the hell out of that sucker.
2. Oh, dang, my shaft's all bent.
And the #1 Thing In Golf That Just Sounds Too Damn Dirty...
1. Look at the size of his putter.
Uh, yeah...like I said, dirty. You can't even make it sound better and think of women's golf...it's just...wrong.
Okay, now it's time for
VIEWER MAIL!
Here's where you get to ask me anything you want. Please folks, keep it civil and I'll try to do the same.
@musclebrain via Twitter asks:
In your opinion, who is the greatest XWA Champion of all time?
Ooooooh...good one right off the bat. But you know what? I don't think anybody can answer that question yet. There have been many great champions these last 5 years of the XWA...and a couple of "okay" ones...but nobody's yet to have that title reign that defines the XWA World Title. Who knows if that's a question that'll ever be answered?
mommawontletme@gmail.com asks:
Is there anyone who you haven't faced that you've always wanted to step in the ring against?
Well, I've been in the ring with some of the best...and some who thought they were the best. HAHA! But I haven't mixed it up with any of the "X-Men" yet. Over the last couple of weeks, both Genesis and the champ Kayn have said things hinting at a possible match against each other. Well...I wanna be a part of that number. One-on-one, triple threat, whatever. You heard it here first...or third.
1r001@yahoo.com asks:
Do you consider yourself a role model?
I heard that 187 dude get asked something like that. The answer is yes, 1r001...I do. Some people inherit that responsibility, others embrace it, and others don't want it. I'm the the middle category and the reason why is because I LOVE YOU AMERICA!!!
No homo.
Seriously though, when the people started liking yours truly, that's when yours truly started taking more responsibility in what he did. A man like me has to set an example for other men like me to follow. Women too. And kids for that matter, you little chittlins. Be good, do good, and good things will come. That's my PSA. ;D
@gamatica via Twitter asks:
What's your favorite console, and what's your favorite game to play?
You already knew I was a gamer, huh? Well, a lot of us XWA Superstars are. But to answer your questions...I don't play favorites. I've got both the 3 and the 360, and each one is good in it's own way. I never understood the fanboy console wars...like yeah, let's blindly bash and support multi-million dollar companies who really don't give a toot whether you think their system's good or not.
As far as my favorite game? It was XWA TakeDown vs. Overload 2010, but I'll give ya'll a little inside scoop. I was in Cali doing mo-cap for the new game for this year, XWA: New Era. It's looking good people. The roster's smaller than last year, but the action's gonna be the best in the series, I guarantee it.
O-kaaaay...that's gonna wrap up this edition of STE TV. Tune in next time ladies and gentlemen, we've got some special guests lined up for ya'll that I know you're gonna love.
So until next time, I'm Syrus...and if that didn't entertain you, you suck.
