This had been done a couple of times before, but I'll be damned if I'm going to necrobump old topics. This one will be stickied for reference and for fun. The question...what does your character sound like? When you envision them actually speaking, how do they sound, or who do they sound like? Feel free to post YT links to the actual people whom you are referencing, if any. Also, to anyone who's contributed to such a thread before, don't be afraid to post it again, as this one's going to be permanently positioned. I'll start with The Boss, who would sound like Famke Jansen. She's got this really sophisticated voice to her, very professional...but if you're familiar with her from The Last Stand or GoldenEye, you know she can be a psycho/homicidal bitch pretty well too, lol. That pretty much says a lot about Ms. Blackheart's own personality.

it's changed a bit over the years. Originally the cue voice actress would be Sienna Guillory, but.. -ONLY- when portraying the voice of Jill Valentine for the R.E. series. Obviously the thick English accent is downplayed more and can pass off as lingering bits of what Lilith has left from her homeland of Romania. [It's a stretch, but seriously who cares she's still hot lol] But NOW... It is Sienna Miller. Once again, - ONLY- when portraying her role as The Baroness from G.I. Joe - Rise Of The Cobra. /I am in no way shape or form claiming that movie was any good whatsoever. Simply using the voice of the character to reflect my own lol/ Hard to find legit clips of her in the role speaking instead of being interviewed with the normal English accent so yeah. I'll let people google it or something if they're ever curious lmao

I'd say, a deeper voiced Samoa Joe.

It's hard for me to think of what 187's vocal cords sound like. lol I've changed my mind over the years whenever I thought about it. I had originally thought like Brad Pitt would have fit his voice, but the more I've RPed 187, the less I could hear Pitt speaking 187's lines. If I had to pick a voice that I hear when I'm typing 187's dialogue right this very moment, I would think I would go with Eminem. I'd say Eminem's normal speaking voice would be a close fit rather than when Eminem is rapping because he does a lot of different crazy tones of voice for a lot of different songs. (Plus, I suppose I've taken some cues from him as far as morphing 187's face in more recent games lol).

...And for Dante Cervantes' vampiric vocal cords, I tend to think he would sound a lot like Johnny Depp using his normal voice too. Just Depp's normal voice. Not Wonka. Not Sparrow. Or any other crazy characters that Depp puts on a special voice on for over the years. I think Dante would speak with a calm and smooth voice like Depp. lol

Post by "The HellCat" Hayley Jonas on Feb 8, 2011 16:09:36 GMT -5
That was too scary. LOL
Hayley's voice would sound like Kate Nauta. This is her in my favorite role she's done as that psycho-homicidal chick in Transporter 2. Pretty much the exact same tone and "persona" as portrayed here, minus the psychological problems and automatic weaponry.
Though I am making a version of Hayley for APB:Reloaded, so that's subject to change. XD

Sam Huntington during his portrayal of Eric Bottler in Fanboys. I'd link you to a youtube video, but damn caveman internet lol. Just sounds right for Embers though.

It took me a few days to figure out who I think would voice Smith's macro-patriotic, hypocritical rhetoric the best. In the end though, I see (or rather hear) Smith sounding more like... Smith. ;D
