A few minutes ago, after logging into the board, I noticed that all the graphics were down. After checking the server, I noticed that the connection was down altogether. So, I open my browser again and get a message from Time Warner that "My Computer Has Been Found To Be Downloading or Uploading Copyrighted Material", or something to that extent.
The long and the short is that the sights I've been using for XWA purposes (namely Mediafire) must keep track of this stuff or something, and seeing as I (foolishly) have a folder dedicated to CAW Themes (copyrighted music in others words), that's probably what they are referring to. That's my theory anyway.
Anyway, to avoid any further unnecessary drama on account of "big brother" not being happy, here's what I'm asking.
If ever you must submit a media file here, put the title of the file in your post, but change the name of the actual file before you upload it. So say Genesis wants to change his theme song. He can put the title of the song in his update post, but the updated file, uploaded to whatever fileshare site he choose (as I may have to find an alternative to mediafire) should simply be "Genesis Theme". Basically, don't give away the title of the actual media, so whoever is watchdogging, doesn't know what media is being shared.
It's kind of a complication, but you know how record and movie companies are about P2P distribution. So yeah.
