New York City.
Outside of 1 Penn Plaza.
Jaleira Taylor is now walking away from the headquarters of the Blackheart Corporation with a smile on her face. It's another busy Monday morning in the city, people shuffling through the streets on their way to their destinations. Work. School. Sightseeing. If you looked in the direction of this young woman though, your were already seeing a sight yourself.
Her face was like drawn from a man's most beautiful dream. Big eyes. A button nose. Thick evenly colored lips. Carmel colored complexion. She was a nubian goddess in every sense of the word who commanded attention, and often got it even as she walked the street. Raven colored hair draped and slinked it's way down past her shoulder.
It was cold out, but there was still some sun. She wore a short coat, more like a jacket but thick with down feathers so it counted as a coat. White like pearls, and the boots she wore matched it, six inche heels on them, riding up her calves to the knee. Filling the space between that could be seen by the human eye right now she wore some dark blue Apple Bottom jeans. Fitting because that's what she happened to possess on her. It was the current object of wanton male desire to any man who happen to look back as she walked by. And a few women too.
That kind of attention, she was used to. She was not ashamed of being who she was and doing what she did for a living. It paid her way through school. Jaleira knew she wouldn't look the way she did forever, so she might as well use her looks to benefit her as much as possible while she had them. That's why she danced. Well...that wasn't the only reason. She did like money, who doesn't? She liked the attention even more though.
She was going to be getting a lot more of that now. Dangling from her shoulder was a medium sized Louis Vuitton bag that she reached into to pull out her cellphone. She hits her speed-dial. #1. The phone rings. She was hoping that he would answer. He had been keeping contact for a year now. They developed...something. She wasn't even sure what it was yet, but it was something.
Hi! I just got out of the building. Guess what? I made it!
She grinning and giggling. The voice on the other end is happy as well.
That means you'll be seeing a whole lot more of me really soon. Not like you'll mind. So how was the army base? Oh, someone approached you? Was she cute? Hee Hee...
The voice talks briefly about it. He was one of XWA roster who had taken part in the Tribute To The Troops show. She watched it all the way though. Even took the night off from her other job to. Then of course was also the reason of being up early for this now successful interview.
Yeah. I saw that. You did great though. Even though it happened the way it did, you have to be happy you're still in good condition. I know I'm happy that I haven't worn you out yet.
She giggles again. Jaleira reached the Penn Station now, so she was going to have to get off the phone before going underground.
So, when am I going to see you again? Oh no you're not. You've away doing your thing for the last two months. You're coming back up here to New York now. We're gonna be doing some things of our own.
The voice cracks a little. Probably wasn't expecting her to be so upfront. He could probably sees with his imagination the grin on her thick lips right now.
How far away are you now? Perfect...I'm heading back to my apartment now. I'll be seeing you there soon. That's an order.
The phone clicks on the other end with an affirmation. She puts her back in her bag and starts heading down the stairs, smiling as she made her way to the train.
