BREAKING NEWS: XWA Superstar Severely Injured
TheXWA.net just learned today that XWA Superstar and former World Champion Robby Sylk has been hospitalized in Arizona for several weeks after suffering what sources say "a heavy amount of damage".
According to the medical examiners, Sylk was admitted into a local hospital on Dec. XX, the night of XGAMES4, by fellow superstar Syrus The Entertainer. After answering questions from the local authorities, STE was let go without any formal charge brought up.
Sylk has sustained a severe concussion, a broken orbital bone on his face and bruised ribs. Doctor's also reported an amount of blood loss that required a transfusion. He's been placed on injured reserve pending further treatment, and after news of this broke early today, GM Chris Lionheart confirmed him to not be partaking in the Tribute To The Troops preseason event. His status for the 2011 season is currently unknown.
According to Syrus, Sylk was laying in the parking lot of the University of Phoenix Stadium where XG4 took place injured from what looked like an assault. Investigators were however unable to obtain any surveillance footage from arena security as for a span of 20 minutes during the course of the night, their cameras experienced "technical difficulties".
