Bio:
Adrian Taylor, better known the world over as Tha Notorious 187 or Tha Infamous 187, was born in Los Angeles, California. His childhood wasn’t the greatest in the world. He lived in gangland territory of Los Angeles. Compton to be more exact. His up bringing wasn’t much. Father walked out on the family when he was born. So he doesn’t know who dad. His mother raised him and his younger brother and sister the best she could. Fast forward through time to a teenage Adrian Taylor. Let’s say, he didn’t hang with the best of crowds through his adolescent years. He ended up getting involved with drugs, guns, and gangs while still in high school. So much so that he ended up joining the gang The Bloods. Wonder how he gained a name like 187? Well, it’s not that hard to figure out. He flew through the ranks quickly. Gaining major power and gaining major respect. To the point where he was able to control his own little crews here and there. He became almost like a big brother and protector of his childhood friend Kenisha Williams. He had become close friends with the likes of Jay Crack, Young Felony, Seven Deuce, Jin Remmy, Ghost, and many more.
Unfortunately, sometimes a life led like this doesn’t have a happy ending. His mother refused to believe that he was a gang member. She didn’t want to think it to be true. One Saturday morning, his mother and younger sister had gone grocery shopping. 187 was watching his brother while they were out. While they were gone, several of 187’s enemies arrived at their home. They called out to 187. Insulting him. Waiting for him to come on out of the house. When he didn’t show up on the porch quick enough, they unloaded their weapons at the house. Hoping to kill 187 and whoever else was inside. They succeeded in killing his younger brother with a stray bullet. 187 had tried to protect his younger brother but he wasn’t able to save him. A broken and furious 187 then got his weapons and headed out to porch. Willing to go out in a blaze of glory. He managed to not get shot himself but had killed his enemies. His mother and sister arrived shortly after. This marked the day that he would be disowned from his family entirely. 187 would then be kicked out on the streets and forced to depend on his other family, The Bloods.
That wouldn’t be the first time that people had made an attempt, and it surely wasn’t the last. He had gone through a lot of ups and downs in his life. Made a lot of enemies along the way. Such names include Jason Argent, the late-great Criminal, and others. Deals gone bad, people he done jobs with and the partnership gone wrong… things like that. One that in particularly gone to the highest extreme involved the man know as Criminal. Criminal had once been apart of the Bloods. 187 and he got involved together. Became partners in crime. Grew close too. That was until Criminal decided to leave the Bloods for a better life. That wasn’t going to fly. Criminal had taken off for a wrestling career, and you can bet 187 was going to be close behind.
187 first burst onto the scene in Ohio by attacking his well known enemy at the time, the late-great Criminal. He attacked the man in the parking lot and a war between the two started. This confrontation did not begin in Ohio, it dated back to their days back in California. Criminal had wanted out of the Bloods gang and fled from California. 187 was bitter at him for doing so and said “the only way out was in a box.” The two had exchanged words numerous times. 187 claiming that Criminal had gone “soft” and had lost his “killer instinct.” The two faced off in the ring after awhile only for 187 to come up short and lose the match.
After that, 187 reached out for friends and expanded his horizons in WTF. He did catch a lot of heat and gained numerous enemies for his actions towards Criminal, but he managed to make some friends along the way. He became a very short lived member of a group called the Inner City Saints. During one night of partying at a local bar, 187 had gotten into fight with one Johnny Phoenix. All hell broke loose in the bar that night. That was until the police showed up. Arrested both 187 and Phoenix for starting the fight. And let’s just say, that didn’t last long either. The two had broken out of jail and were on the run from the police. Reason numero uno why 187 is not allowed back in the state of Ohio. Wanted posters in that place. Very ugly situation.
Once he had fled from Ohio, 187 decided to stick it out in this wrestling business. He actually enjoyed it. He felt this business was good for him. It was a way to fight, something he was good at doing, and do it without getting in trouble. He could beat someone to the ground and the police couldn’t arrest him for it. He found his way to New York. Once he got there? The hate was already there waiting for him. Those who wanted a piece of him from Ohio because of his beef with Criminal, were right there waiting for him. And 187 decided to take on all challengers. No matter who it was, he faced all comers. Sometimes facing more than one person a night until they started cracking down on that. Limiting people only to one fight per show. He was fine with that. He continued facing people left and right. Got involved with some pretty freaky dark magic type of people. Some kind stuff that he didn’t even know existed. It was then he found out he was related and happened to be an ancestor of the head honcho’s right hand man so many years ago. It was crazy but he managed to make it through it.
While there, he met up with someone he knew from Ohio. They formed an alliance and then formed a “family” with three others. Thus creating one of the most dominant and most popular bunch to hit the industry, The Familia. They didn’t stop there. They gained numbers along the way and the success came in fast. And more enemies followed suit after that. One of the most notable feuds began with one Roy Trigga. Time after time again, the two met in the ring. The two battled it out. And 187 had come out on top each time. The feud got ugly when Kenisha Williams, 187’s childhood friend, got involved. This led to more legal issues when 187 lost his cool and took an unloaded gun and pistol whipped Trigga. The feud grew so bad that it led to a contract match. Trigga put his contract on the line. The two met again. And 187 was the victor.
After that, 187 continued to push forward and continue taking on any and everyone. He gained some success in LXW. He won a belt while he was there. The Riot's Rules title, but that was a short lived one week title reign. He was also involved in one of the best matches during the biggest event in LXW, Pantheon. It was 187 versus Brent Starr versus Kyle Nobbs. The three battled it out for the SlamGod Championship. Brent Starr came out the victor but it was a hard fought match to remember.
He came across a company being run in Canada. Action Packed Wrestling. This caught his attention quick. The company was new. This could mean he could start from scratch and it didn’t take him long to head out there either. He arrived on the scene and nothing had changed about him. He was the same person he was in New York as he was there. Ready and willing to take the fight to any challenger that opposed him. Needless to say, a certain family had also caught wind of APW. And thus, The Familia was reunited.
Things went back to how they used to be. That was definitely an upside. The Familia was back to doing what they do best. Dominate. They were back, badder, and better than they had ever been. Continuing to change the game and making every have to step up their game to compete with them. Gained a few more numbers while they were at it too.
187 had seen a lot of old faces and a lot of new ones in APW. Brief feuds with guys such as Andrew Walker, Michael Taylor, and Blaze. Roy Trigga had returned for a second round. He hadn’t changed much. Still had a hatred for 187. A three month long feud boiled between himself and “Marvelous” Joe Bruiser. The two went at it every week. Competing in almost every match type that APW had to offer. Success was often in his corner. Even managed to pull off becoming the APW World Champion once. Another short lived reign but he got it. Another notable accomplishment involving 187 was being part of the final showdown between the Angel Sisters of APW. He was apart of Chantell’s team and helped pick up the victory. Giving full power to Chantell. Another plus for him.
But unfortunately, tragedy struck in APW. A shooting that left this man in a coma after the final pay per view. It had seemed that someone was targeting The Familia because he wasn’t the only one to fall victim to it. Soon, he would go missing from the hospital. Unclear of what actually happened to the body, there was a search set out for him.
187 mysteriously popped back up in Chicago. He had no clue how he got there or what had happened between Toronto and Chicago. He does remember there being some torture, but when he wouldn't give his captors what they wanted, he was left for dead in the streets of Chicago. He was taken in by the city's homeless at an abandoned warehouse, believing he was one of them. After being nursed back to health, he repaid he debt to these people by taking care of a personal problem of theirs. After seeing advertisements around Chicago, 187 then set his sights on GCW.
There, he reignited some old feuds and made some new enemies along the way. People like Joe Bruiser and Genesis were the most notable during his stay in GCW. His appearance had changed quite a bit since everyone had last saw him. No doubt his time away had been showing on him. His skin was pale, like he'd been stuck in a dark hole away from sunlight. He looked tired. He had a deep paranoia and distrust for everyone that he had ever known in his life. He did not know who did what they did to him. He even went so far as to point fingers at his own Familia.
Unfortunately, his time in GCW ended on a sour note when some faces from the past had caught up with him. The next thing you know, the media is claiming they've found the deceased body of Tha Infamous 187 who apparently committed suicide in an undisclosed location.
He doesn't quite remember how he ended up in Atlanta all that well either. Something about him running around with blonde hair and flashing playing cards at people. Spouting off little tidbits here and there about the meaning behind the cards and why it was fate that brought him to where he was. He knows he was apparently calling himself Mickey Knox and had a pretty long standing battle with one "Mr. Showtime" Bryan Daniels. Even more strange, he had won the company's Television Championship. Twice.
Like most good things though, everything comes to an end and he found himself being apart of TNB2 with this blonde haired marvel like waking up from some kind of dream. This Mickey Knox was infact Tha Infamous 187 himself. Or rather, he was known as Murda as he liked to call himself back then. He had apparently done so well and people were so unaware of what had gone on inside his cranium, he was actually being rewarded with a Legend status in the company. The first time he has been recognized as such. He certainly wasn't going to turn it down.
But once again, battling with all the people inside of his head, 187 had vanished once again.
After going on a year long hiatus during 2010, 187 has popped back up. This time, in New York city, of all places. What does the future hold for Tha Infamous One? Old faces from the past coming back to haunt him? More ludicrous insanity? Another attempt on his life? Time will tell. All he knows, is if he has to go out, he's going to go out in a blaze of glory.
