Primarily, Genesis is seen as an arrogant guy. Hot-Headed at times. Lets his emotions get the best of him. In XWA, in the last year or so. He is seen more as a motivational speaker type of deal. Using his experiences on the road to help better the 'Next Generation' of XWA Superstars. However, that will to be the best never left him for a second. As when the opportunity rises. Genesis isn't afraid to step up his game at a moment's notice, and go back to his 'Controversial' roots when called upon.

Bio:
(Gonna shorten this, & only cover what he has done in TNB1 & XWA)
(WCW: The New Blood)
*Debut in February 2006 under the alias 'Genesis'.
*Graduated from Development Camp in March 2006
*Formed his first stable called 'The Devil's Advocates'. Along with members Vampiro & KISS Demon.
*With the 'DA'. They raged war with the ReVolution. A group of crusader's led by The Avenger. Thus officially starting the on again, off again feud with The Avenger.
*In May 2006. Genesis was kicked out of the DA by Kiss Demon. In response to this. Genesis patches things up with Avenger and aligns himself with The ReVolution. From that point on. Avenger took the young then 19 yr. old under his wing. Teaching the young rookie everything he knew he could teach him about the business (So that's how Genesis became briefly obsessive with World Championships. )
*In August 2006. That relationship was terminated. When Genesis was pushed up to Upper-Card status in the organization. Avenger stabs him in the back by jumping ship over to the nWo. A new rivalry between the duo would ensue.
*In October 2006. That rivalry came to an abrupt hault. Genesis, upon receiving news that he was being transferred to the ECW Brand without any word of warning. Had words with the company's owner Chris Lionheart and was fired.
(TNB1)
*In November 2006. Genesis was brought back to the newly renamed TNB from its prior name: WCW: The New Blood. Putting more emphasis on the companies 'original' character while slowly removing its older talent. In that month. Genesis was demoted back to developmental status. Where he would stay for a month and capture that brand's Mid-Atlantic Championship. Also in that same month. He captured the Hardcore Championship for a brief period of time.
*As November came to a close. Genesis was promoted to the 'Thunder' brand, then later traded to Nitro. In the midst of all this. Genesis became a storied rivalry with one of TNB's youngest and fastest rising stars. His name was Maniac.
*December 2006-January 2007. The rivalry expanded in those months. The men battled back & forth. Both in the ring and out of it on the microphone. There rivalry came to ahead when during a tag team steel cage match. Genesis & Manaic were forced to team together to battle Chris Benoit & Chris Steele. In that match. After Genesis delivered a few good shots in on Benoit & Steele. He made a run for it and climbed out of the cage. Leaving Maniac for dead in the ring as he got destroyed by there opponents.
*February 2006. After those events. Christian MoneyMaker. The companies GM at that time. Setup a World Title Match for the Revolution PPV. Pitting World Champion Maniac against Genesis in the same Steel Cage structure that helped orchastrate Maniac's prior demise. Genesis was victorious on this night. Capturing his first World Championship.
*March 2006. Genesis lost his title to Chris Steele. A few weeks after. His contract expired with TNB and he opted to not renew his deal. This would be his last ever appearance in TNB until the companies closing a month later.
*April 2006. For one night only. Genesis appeared at TNB's last event called "Abomination". Defeating Maniac in one last ever encounter between the two men. Prior to this. And before news broke of the companies closing. Genesis was set to have his rematch with World Champion Chris Steele. That match obviously, never happened.
*In 2009. Genesis, along with several other TNB1 Alumni were honored as 'Legends'.
(XWA)
*April 2007. A couple weeks prior to TNB closing (and coincidently, a week later after Genesis left that organization). Genesis signs with the XWA. Making a big splash on his debut night. Defeating Ryan Blaze & Nick Jones in a Triple Threat Match.
*May 2007. After one failed attempt. to capture the XWA National Championship. Genesis had a rematch with then champion XXL. As such, he defeated the self-proclaimed: "Best Big Man In The Business". Snapping his then long winning streak as champion.
*June 2007. Genesis lost his National Championship to Shia Storm.
*July 2007. Genesis exited the company due to creative issues and made a run for APW.
(XWA. 2nd Run)
*May 2008. Genesis returns to the XWA. Picking up where he left off before. He reunites with Primo & begins another illustrious feud with him. Lasting until late June.
*June-August 2008. Genesis (now under his real name, Brandon Payne). Starts another epic feud with Scott O'Dell, then later Ethan Bain. Exchanging wins & losses with those two men.
*September 2008. BP goes back into a feud with XXL. This time, in a match for the XWA World Championship. Where Payne came within' an eyelash of winning the title. That match was regarded by many as one of the best XWA World Title matches in that companies history.
*October 2008. BP was named as one of the 6 entries into The Devil's Playground match. Unfortunately for him. He was the first entrant in the match. Lasting until all 6 men had entered the ring before being eliminated. Injuring his right knee in the process.
*November 2008. BP finishes out 2008 with one last match against Sylas Styles. Achieving victory over him.
*December 2008. As XWA began there annual off-season. Payne was rewarded with the 2008 Biggest Mouth of the Year Award. Also, at the end of the night. Payne was honored with XWA's highest honor, the "Combatant Xtraordinaire' award.
*March-June 2009. With XWA back in full swing for another year. Genesis begins a new rivalry with Dante 'Atlas' Elsworth. Getting a clean sweep over the young, up & coming athlete.
*June 2009. Genesis takes a few weeks off to heal up some injuries and decide his future. Would he align himself with the invading XCW federation or stay true to the XWA ?
*July 2009. That decision was made as he takes down XCW Represenative Loki to officially take his stance with the XWA.
*August 2009. To represent team XWA. Genesis & XXL teamed up to battle XCW's finest in a 'Winner Take All'-esque type of match. Genesis got the winning pinfall and sent XCW packing afterwords.
*September 2009. Genesis begins a feud with newcomer Scott Epic.
*October 2009: The feud between Genesis & Scott Epic comes to a close. With Epic going over Genesis at 'Only the Strong' PPV. From that point on. Epic went on to be one of XWA's newest rising superstars in the companies history. Many people hold Gen. responsible for Epic's sudden rise in popularity.
In that same month. Genesis would compete in his second. Back-to-Back 'Devil's Playground' match-up. But not before being the 2nd man eliminated from the competetion. In an act of sheer irony or coincidence. Much like last year's match. Genesis was injured yet again. This time, tearing his left tricep muscle. Requiring surgery that would keep him out until March of next year.
*March 2010 'The Final Curtain': Genesis would return for what would seem to be his final matches for the company against another up & comer Chris Dynamite. However, those rumors were put to rest very soon*
*September 2010 - Only The Strong* - Genesis participated in the 'Only the Strong' tournament. However, losing in the first round to King. From there, Genesis opted to sit out the remainder of the year to gear up for 2011.
When XWA lost a majority of its staff, and wrestlers. Many thought Genesis would follow suit. But instead? He opted to stick with the ones that were loyal to him for the past three years. As he declined the offer to join the 'other place', and vows to stick with XWA until the end. Promising that his 'best days' are yet to come.
