"Alright. Let's take a look at this."
With that same kind smile on his face, he picked up the contract and gave it a quick read. One of his many natural talents was the ability to read lots of text like he was some kind of computer .He was never one to sign something that he himself didn't personally read. You know how many people get caught up in some trouble because their name was attached to something they didn't read? A few too many. He would read the entire contract over before he put his name on the dotted line, even the fine print. That is where they get you. It's not that he didn't trust Ms. Blackheart, but it was the smart thing to do. He nodded a couple of times while he was looking the contract over. Dante briefly said, while still reading...
"Good, good. This looks good."
Then Dante placed the contract back down on the table and leaned forward on Ms. Blackheart's desk. He wrote his initials down in the proper places where they should be. Then he grabbed the pen and wrote his 'John Hancock' where he needed to sign.
Finally, he placed the pen down on her desk and pushed the contract forward to the boss. He stood up straight and smiled once more. ;D Dante nodded his head and said...
"It's been a pleasure meeting, Ms. Blackheart. I hope we can do this again sometime. But sadly, I must be off. There are preparations to be made if I'm going to be at the tip-top physical shape I need to be in when it comes time to do battle. Until next time..."
He retrieved the black shades from his pocket and placed them back upon his face. Covering his crimson stare before turning away and making his exit. Once outside of Ms. Blackheart's office, he nodded his head with that smile still plastered upon his face. That went well. There was nothing to be afraid of. Dante started heading off down the hall before stopping in his tracks when a thought popped in his head. Did she notice his fangs? While they were talking? He sure did smile a lot to try and make a good impression. He prayed she didn't notice because he didn't want to ask any unusual questions, but he couldn't be sure. Dante slowly continued down the hall, hoping that the interview had gone over as well as he had thought so.
