it was a while since Kimberly stepped into the building let alone the top floor of one Penn plaza, almost a entire year.
Kim sporting long light brown hair and a suit for her meeting stood before the elevator as it opened for her and she pressed the button of the top floor and the box made its climb.
she was nervous alot of time passed since she was in XWA and now she had a meeting with Carmella, it was more of a reach out then anything, the more kim thought the more she feared being showed the door and the more she worried the more she felt she should just leave.
she looked at the floor of the elevator and sighed when the door opened and this first person she sees in Carmella's secretary.
the secretary sitting at the big desk on the phone looked at kim then back to the computer monitor and spoke into her head set.
secretary: thank you for waiting....yes we can pen you in for next week...noon...good thank you...office of Carmella Blackheart please hold...
she looked at kimberly standing at the desk
hi...im kimberly knight im here to see miss blackheart, i have an appointment
secretary: yes..yes you do..please have a seat and miss blackheart will be with out soon, she is in another meeting.
kim nodded and went and sat down at the waiting area and looked at the clock, her mind screamed at her to leave and forget about it, but she sat there.

Members of the Board Of Directors of XWA had begun to file out of her office, and now Carmella reached over for her Blackberry to see what was next on her schedule.
Kimberly Angelos...
The name had stood out like a sore thumb among all of those in Carmella's appointment book for the day. She had seen a lot of newcomers, and an equal amount of comebacks as it were, but this one in particular had intrigued her immensely.
Here was a young woman from the great wrestling nation of Canada, just removed from a successful season in the Diamond Division, on the cusp of becoming one of it's top competitors...
...and then she disappeared. That's not to say it hasn't happened before, it does a lot in this wrestling fed business, but for someone who had nowhere to go but up to have done it was what was really intriguing to her.
Kimberly Angelos...
...Candice, is my next appointment here?
"Yes, she's in the waiting room now."
Good.
Carmella decided she was going to handle this one a little differently. Besides, she had just spent hours in that office talking business strategy and marketing and what not. If she didn't get out for some air, she was going to explode. She walks out of the office and both Kim and Candice turn their heads in a bit of surprise.
You look shocked I'm even walking out of there, Candice...*giggle*. When the meeting with the networks?
"3PM, Ms. Blackheart. Three hours from now."
Good. Plenty of time.
Her head now turned in the direction of Kim, who was looking pretty well. Whatever she had done in life up to this point, it was treating her fine. However, the nervousness was so evident on her face that Carmella though it was actually a good idea to get out of the office. The formal setting might have been too...nerve-wrecking.
Ms. Angelos? A pleasure to see you again.
She extended her hand towards Kim, hoping a warm greeting might be enough to take the edge off.

kim watched as everyone piled out of the meeting room, the fact she had a meeting right after a board meeting didn't help her mindset as Carmella made her way towards her, kim stood up and took her handshake
its nice to see you again miss blackheart, how have you been?
kim asked she was starting to relax abit more, after getting over the nervousness a bit it started to feel familiar.
thank you for seeing me, i know your busy...with actual employees

Well, I'd like to say things are "peachy", but that would be far from the truth. Things are...being dealt with, let's say that. Of course, that's nothing for you to have to think about. Corporate stuff.
I know what it is you are thinking though. You came here to do something about-the "actual employee" bit, hmm?
One evident trait of Carmella Blackheart is that she's not the subtle type. Always the businesswoman, she's straightforward everytime, no matter who or what.
I'm up for a cup of coffee in the lounge, care to join me? I'm treating of course.

thank you i think i will join you a cup of coffee might do me some good.
Kim heard about some of the stuff going on with XWA, mostly it was second hand words or from the dirt sheets, but she knew some stuff.
i hope i am not keeping you from more pressing matters, if your busy i can come back some other time
that statement was pretty much Kim having second thoughts about the whole thing, not because she didn't want to but for reasons her own

Right now, you are the pressing matter, Kimberly. I told you, don't worry that stuff. I've been in this game too long to let minor hindrances affect my bottom line. Right now, it's all about what XWA can do for you, and what you can do for XWA.
Together they arrived at the Lounge inside of the building. It was where the staff could unwind and relax during their hectic and busy days. Carmella was a coffee person, so she had a gourmet-style coffee counter built, about 10 times better and more potent than Starbucks.
I'll have a carmel macchiato please...and give her whatever she would like to have.
So, Kim...can I call you Kim? Exactly what can the XWA do for you now, hmm? What were you looking for exactly?

a smile came over kim's face as they got coffee
may i have a hazelnut mocha please...thank you.
kim turned and faced carmella and thought for a moment
i was hoping to get a job, i don't want to sound desperate...but that's exactly what i am.
kim was given her coffee and she took a sip and sighed finding a seat.
to be honest i was worried about having this meeting, i felt i let so many people down here...you,the fans,staff......Jon
Kim paused and rubbed her eyes and continued with her story.
i just need something...even if its the mail room, i just hope i didn't burn any bridges too badly when i just.....disappeared

Carmella too got her coffee, in a nice, clean white mug with a saucer. The brim was topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel. It looked good and smelled divine. Careful was she as she took a seat not to spill a single drop of it. She took her first sip...delicious.
Mmmm...that is sooooooo good!
Did we mention she was a coffee person?
I know it's gotta be really hard to come here and ask me something like that. Not a lot of people would have that kind of courage.
It's really the same story to me. Do you know how many people have come and gone from the XWA, just to end up coming back? It simply shows that this company is more than just another wrestling federation. We might not be the only team in town, but when you can sign with the Yankees, why would you settle for going with the Mets?
Reminds me...I have to get those season tickets. Anyway...
Kim, I'm sorry, but I don't have any positions open in the mailroom. Or in IT. Or administrative. I think even maintenance is full now too.
The only actual positions I have open right now is for in-ring talent. Luckily, the last I checked you were actually pretty talented in the ring.

kim sat down across from carmella and took a sip of her mocha, as she was talking kim felt her insides cringe thinking she was getting the "no"
but after carmella was done talking a smile came over her face at the complaint
thank you miss blackheart, and before anything else goes though...i want to say im sorry for walking away from you and XWA and it wont happen again it took me a long time but i realize XWA is home...i was here from pretty much the start and i want to belong again
kim smiled again taking a long drink from her mug
i just have afew shows i have to do but i should be ready before we start for 2011...

It's alright Kim. It's the off-season, so everyone is either recharging their batteries or overcharging them for the new season, whichever suits them best I suppose. You've got plenty of time to get ready, and when you are ready, I have no doubt you be rolling in the upward direction.
True indeed, she didn't know the reasons why Angelos vanished before. But if she's learned anything in the cut-throat business of pro wrestling, it's that sometimes a second chance (or third, or fourth if your white haired guys from North Carolina) will do a person good.
Well, I'm pretty sure I've got another batch of meetings and interviews piling up on me as we speak, so I'll get back to work now. If you need anything Kim, anything at all...don't be shy, okay?
She lastly rests her hand on Kim's shoulder, smiling bright above her.
Glad to have you back.
