Bio:
In 2010, Jamie Fury already stellar career reached new heights. It began with her as still still reigning Diamond Champion, once again facing unimaginable odds against one of her most notable rivals Channelle Valencia. With her strength and her will, and with her fans solidly behind, Fury would turn back Channelle and one her associate in a handicap match to retain the title.
Through the course of the season, Jamie would eventually lose the title in a triple threat match against two up and comers, and accepting the result, she was poised to turn the page and let someone else test their mettle as the new champion.
Fate however...would have other plans.
After some administrative issues, XWA had vacated the Diamond Title, and had a contender for the belt, but no champion to speak of. The decision was made that the former champion Fury be placed in the match against OTS winner Sonya Robbins (the only of two women yet to have defeated her one-on-one) for the vacated title at XGAMES4.
On that night in a hard fought and evenly contested match, Jamie Fury would surpass all her peers, becoming the first and only 3-time Diamond Champion in XWA history. In doing so she also became the only person-male or female-to hold world title gold three times in all of the XWA.
So now Jamie Fury enters 2011 as she did 2010, the Diamond Champion and arguably the best female wrestler in the world...aka, a woman with a target on her shoulder. Many will come to challenge her third reign as champion, but with that and with all the challenges that may come in the new season, Jamie Fury will face them as she always has, with every ounce of fight in her tall, statuesque frame.
