This announcement is being made a rule, because it's one that I feel will make the (currently vacant) XWA Tag Titles a relevant championship that people will care about aside from a handful of members, as it was before the belts were vacated.
Going forward there will be no joint tag team accounts in the XWA. Every team will have to be comprised of different characters. It's okay if said characters are handled by the same member, but the "two for one" tag team thing just was not working out.
In terms of tag team roleplaying, one member can represent his team in any tag team match promo, so if your partner isn't around, you can still get matches for your team.
Also, as if it needs to be said, you can't be in a both a singles and tag team match on one show unless you hold half of the Tag Titles and a singles title.
Tag teams will only be required to have one tag match per month. You can have multiple at your own discretion, with the exception of the champions who must defend the title whenever challenged by a legitimate contending team.
