I've had the game since a week after it released...but between NBA 2K11, SVR11, NFS: Hot Pursuit and Gran Turismo 5, I've barely even scratched the surface. I finished the 1st mission and that's it. Ain't even got outta Goodsprings yet...lol.

I rented it for the PS3 from Gamefly but bought it for PC when I finally got the money. Going to finish out my file on the PS3, though, as I've got my main file character at level 30 and in New Vegas.
Waiting on my new graphics card I bought yesterday to get here before I get into the PC version deeply. Nothing was wrong with my old one, it could run the game but I wanted a new, shiny one for better performance.
While waiting though, I've gotten quite a few mods for it already. Hah. Mainly a mod that extend hair options, as I hate all but 2 or 3 of the hairs for both genders. Also got a mod that fixes one of the companions, she's bugged and therefore wont level with the player like she's meant to, been that way since launch and after the 4 or 5 patches they've already made, still haven't fixed her. Ah, the joys of fan made mods, doing stuff better than the creators of the game.
I do enjoy it despite its many bugs and crashes. Though, I have to say from my current experience with it that I enjoyed Fallout 3 more so far and therefore, think Fallout 3 is better. I am a bit disappointed at the weapon modding. Nowhere near what they hyped it up to be back at E3. Its still a good game regardless and a worthy one of the Fallout title.

Getting to New Vegas is the shit lol. I bet I lost 500 caps playing Blackjack my first trip there. Heed my warning though....you need at least 2,000 caps to get in. There's still alot I have to do.

Indeed. The entry fee took me by surprise but by the time I got around to going to Vegas, I already had roughly 50K so getting in was no trouble whatsoever. XD

Daaaaaaaaaaamn. Your tighter than me. XD I only buy guns, ammo, and stimpacks. I sell alot of stuff, mostly pre-war money, drugs and booze.  I don't use them though. I'm saving up for the Grenade Machine gun right now lol. I'm only level 10 and I'm about 3 missions away from beating the game. Right now, I'm trying to get more locations. If your into these kind of games, I highly reccomend it for anyone. You'll have all kinds of fun on here, especially killing people. Decapitation FTW. |
