The word "new" spoiled this thread lol. Apparently Cain was pretty dominant in the win too, cut Brock up with some judicious punching. Velasquez, no disrespect to Lesnar, is the real freak of nature in the HW division. He's now beat the two biggest guys (Brock and Carwin), outweighed by at least 15-20 pounds, by KO or TKO.
Cain's a wrestler by trade, but he's got hands as quick as a LHW, and his cardio is insane. Obviously those posed as problems Brock never faced against Mir, Herring, Couture and Carwin. Velasquez might be the HW version of Lyoto before his first loss...a guy who it's going to take a while to figure out a strategy to defeat.

His last fight before Lesnar was one of the best and toughest all time. Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira. That said i think Cain should have lost the Congo fight he looked terrible. But so did Lesnar in this fight. worst showing by Brock to date. Lesnar was mostly over hyped like he always has been. Cain has the skills to go far in MMA but 3x he is not comparable to Machida now. Machida is light years ahead of Cain but i do see him becoming the total package when it comes to stand up and ground game in the very near future, Cain has one of if not the best coaches in the MMA world. That team is crazy good he trains with. But they have some of the most boring fighters there as well. Fitch has to be the most tiring guy to watch fight i have ever seen this side of the first fight Crazyhorse had in the UFC with Jake O'Brien dry humped him for 3 rounds.
