It only gets better (Sushi-X)

Ring Rage continues as the camera begins showing the screaming fans. They all anticipated what was going to happen next. Romeo Davis’ theme music begins to play throughout the arena. Immediate boos are heard from the fans as he emerges from backstage. He smirks as he looks around taking in the reign of boos. He makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring. He taunts in the center of the ring only to receive louder boos. He is handed a microphone that he immediately raises to his lips so he may begin to speak.

Well well well. We are now here at Ring Rage. I gotta say this is a great feeling. It’s great ‘cause there is gonna be a big match here tonight between Sushi-X and myself. We all know that the last time Sushi-X and I stepped into the ring he beat me in the end. *Fans begin to cheer.* Yea, Yea, go ahead and keep ya’ cheerin.’ It really ain’t gonna do much aight. Y’all need ta’ understand that everyone gets lucky every now and then and Sushi-X caught a break in that match. At the last Overload I know y’all saw what really happens when ya’ step in the ring wit’ the RD Factor. Both Yang and I dismantled Sushi-X and Kyle Nobbs. They had no offense. We jus’ kept poundin’ ‘em further and further into the ground. They don’t belong in the same ring as the both of us. *Fans begin to boo.* Y’all know it’s the truth. Tonight I’m gonna continue what happened in that tag match and beat the livin’ hell outta Sushi-X. It ain’t gonna be a normal match though. Y’all always know that I got somethin’ good planned ha ha.

Travis: I wonder what Romeo has in mind of his.

Antonio: We are all about to find out right now.

After our match at Overload, I attempted to take off the mask of Sushi-X. It’s time for us all ta’ see the real Sushi-X. He has been hidin’ behind that mask since he started here in that business. What are ya’ hidin’ behind there man? We are all gonna find out tonight after I pin Sushi-X for the one, two, three. Ya’ see what I am proposin’ tonight is for our match to not only be for the No Limits Championship match but also a match with a lil’ stipulation. A mask versus hair match!

Antonio: Oh this is good. I can’t wait for this match tonight!

If I lose the match here tonight I will cut my hair. The dreadlocks will be gone. If Sushi-X loses the match he not only hands over the No Limits title, but he must remove his match in front of all the fans. Also since ya’ got the match of your type for out other match, tonight we are gonna have a match of my type. Ya’ see I’m bringin’ a match that really challenges the wrestler. That match is a LAST MAN STANDING match. Aw hell yea it’s gonna be a good one. Now Sushi-X, what do ya’ say to that bro?

Romeo smiles as he lowers the microphone to his side. After a few moments Sushi-X’s theme song begins to play in the background.

Sushi-X's theme plays and he heads to the ring with cheers and applause from the Toronto fans. He carried his XWA No Limits Championship belt over his left shoulder. He was also carrying a clipboard with some paper on it. The champion had a smirk on his face as he entered the ring and called for a microphone. Before he spoke, he gave the challenger some mock applause.

Antonio: A mask versus hair match is one of the highest staked-matches in this business.

Travis: For Romeo to go bald or Sushi-X to unmask... that's practically stripping them of their identity, what defines them most. Will the champion accept?

*Sushi-X claps slowly*

Bravo, Mr. Davis. I'm really proud of you. I really am. You needed the man who I took my title from to do your dirty work. I would say that was pretty smart, though I did call it before the match. The only surprise is that I got pinned.

No worries. About your proposal...I knew you were coming after my mask here tonight. And I guess you read my mind when you said you were willing to put your hair on the line. So, being the smart champion I am, I got your proposal in writing.

The crowd cheers as Sushi-X holds up the clipboard.

Antonio: After what these two have been through in recent months, it's not a bad idea.

So we're all clear here in TO... you win, you get my belt and I unmask. I win, and you go bald.

The crowd erupts at the thought of Romeo Davis' hair possibly being shaved.

Travis: A last man standing match though, will he accept?

Antonio: Is there any doubt he will?

Travis: I'm sure Romeo will. He's been so consumed with the champion in recent months he has to finish this.

And you made it Last Man Standing? Really? Did you forget I was set on fire last summer? What chance do you have of knocking my ass out for a count of 10?

Hey, hey, tell you what. I'll do the honors.

The champion pulls out a pen and immediately signs the contract.

I accept!

The crowd erupts as Sushi hands the clipboard to Romeo.

I am a man of my word, you know that. You beat me here tonight, you get my title, and I will unmask. But if you're a man of YOUR word, you will get your head shaved if you lose. Are you a man of your word, Mr. Davis?

The crowd cheers and awaits Romeo's response.

Romeo quickly raises the microphone to his lips.

Y’all know that I am a man of my word. If I lose this match here tonight, which I won’t, I will go bald. Don’t ya’ get ya’ hopes up though ‘cause it ain’t happenin.’ Y’all ain’t gonna see me go bald ‘cause I’m gonna beat Sushi-X’s ass from bell ta’ bell.

Romeo grabs the clipboard from Sushi-X. He signs his name on the line and tosses the clipboard back to Sushi-X. The crowd begins to go crazy as the match has now been set. Romeo drops his microphone to the mat. He meets the eyes of Sushi-X. His hear meant a lot to him. He had it cut short once already and he wasn’t very fond of it which is the reason by he spent the time to grow it back. This match will be one of the biggest matches of his career and it was against a former best friend. What was he doing really? What was the reason for the sudden change? This was the question everybody wanted answered but Romeo wasn’t budging in giving an answer to anyone.

Travis: Romeo has been closer to the No Limits champion than anyone on the roster in recent months. There's probably nothing he knows about the champion. Hell, he might even know what's under the mask looks like.
Antonio: Good point.

Sushi caught the flying clipboard and flipped to the last page to make sure Romeo did sign the contract.

Fine. It's official. When I put you out of action last time, it was an accident. This time, after I beat you and retain my title, and your precious hair gets shaved in front of the whole world, it won't be. I've ended a career here in XWA before. I promise you, Mr. Davis, I will do whatever is necessary to hold on to my title. I will not...hesitate to do it... again.

The crowd cheers as the former best friends turned bitter rivals stare down each other. The champion awaited a response.

Antonio: That's a scary thought, Travis.

Travis: I remember that night well, Tony. Las Vegas about two years ago after a hardcore match. His opponent ended up in the hospital, but this is a different time and his opponent is in a different mindset. I'm telling you, Tony. Romeo sees weakness in the champion. And he will exploit it.

[Romeo Davis]

Romeo smirks after the threat by Sushi-X. Romeo knew what he was capable of doing but that doesn’t stop the fact he will beat Sushi-X in the ring later tonight, become the new XWA No Limits Champion, and remove the mask from Sushi-X’s face. The two former friends continue to stare at each other while the crowd cheers in the background. This is a match they are all dying to see. What will the outcome be? The camera soon fades to black.
