Hey there, 'brother'. Long time no see, eh?
Gen. says with a smile on his face. As he takes one good look at LH in his snazzy suit & attire.
Man, oh man. Look at you! (laughs). Never thought I'd see the day where Chris Lionheart would be running a part of the XWA Universe.

Lionheart smiles at his brother...
Yes... it would appear that top brass has finally seen sense and made it happen. And what's more TakeDown is actually under my control. And that's one juicy carrot to dangle in front of me. But that carrSo I guess that makes me your boss again. Just can't step out from underneath my shadow, can ya little bro? Only joking.

Well if I'm honest. I think I've already done that. Matter of fact, I LEAPED out of your shadow in the last several years in XWA. You haven't wrestled here in quite some time. So, I'd like to think that in a strange way. Despite our differences. Maybe I've made you somewhat proud over the years. Given our history and all that, from company to company?
Be that as it may. I guess you could say though: "Some things never change." You being my 'boss' again? Just like old times in a way.
Speaking of old times... is that a grey hair?Gen. quickly examines LH's hair to find one, ugly looking strand of grey hair hanging out from the side. As Gen yanks it out. There we go! You must have gotten this one from me.

MG walking down the hallway with menacing face prowling at the American filth he seen in his way. Pushing threw the Americans he notices old, but new blood. Chris Lionheart. This hick was about to be apart of his list since he's the new Takedown GM. So he had to pay him a visit. Ammmmmmmmericans. I smell it in the air He takes a wiff and makes his face look nasty. I smell an retired ego and...
Lion hide?! Wow XWA never surprise me. They hire somebody incapable run his own shit and trust him. Wow! I'm shocked. I don't like where this going man! I already hate the idea. I mean XWA does what ever they need to get ratings huh? Haven't had high ones since 2008. You suppose to bring them up Lionboy. You suppose to put some spices in the soup? Can't wait...

Lionheart finally stops smiling upon hearing MG's remarks, before collecting himself and addressing both men together.
Ego? Not really, just enjoying a joke with my brother. We don't always have to be at each other's throats for the cameras, or feuding behind the scenes. What people are never interested in are the times when things are good. When I joke with him about being in my shadow it's because I'm his boss again. I know that as far as in-ring and on the microphone goes he surpassed me a long time ago when I was still wallowing in pity about mistakes I made and unjustices that were done to me in the past. I just hope that since 2009 I've been steadily making my way back to where I once was. God knows I'm trying. And coming back here as a real authority figure this time around is stragely theraputic.
MG, you can hate me all you want. But it's a shame if you truely do hate me because I know your past and I am one of the ones who respects you. That was why I wanted to see you in Atlanta even after our parking lot brawl here. You beat me, I beat you, but I still respected you enough to offer you a job. I only hope that I can do a good enough job as TakeDown General Manager to meet your expectations and earn your respect...

MG? Chill buddy. My brother isn't looking for any trouble. Neither should you. Forget the past, man. That crap happened ages ago. Look on the bright side. With my brother around. Things are definitely going to pick up around here. For me, with our relations aside. This is a very good thing for the TakeDown brand. Perhaps just the secret ingredient the brand needs to take over once more as the quote unquote 'Flagship' program.
For months, Overload has been touted as the end all, be all show for the XWA. To there credit. They have been just that. But I think the tide will begin to shift back into our favor. At the end of the day. We might all be on the same boat. But still, its kinda fun to have a little brand rivalry. Kinda like two brothers engaging in a fist-fight just for the sheer thrill of battle.
All that stuff aside. My brother & I are used to being at each other's throats so much. That at times. We almost forget what its like to just... ya know 'get along'? People rarely ever see that happen. Then again, its because of our past rivalries. I've been able to gain the upper hand over him.
Besides 'big brother'. Do you really think you could ever take me on & surpass me now? I don't think so. Maybe about six years ago. But now? Nah! Not even close. As long as you keep that in mind. We'll be fine, and everything will be as good as gold. Was Genesis joking, or was he being serious about that? Who knows. He can be quite the enigma at times. Where anything he says, or does is left unclear. Nothing, is never for sure.

Into the frey would step none other then Dan Ripley. Seeing an ample chance to get a word in with the man now in charge of changing the fortune of Takedown, he wastes no time introducing himself as he pretty much pushes pass MG and Genesis to do so.
Allow me to introduce myself...
I'm Dan Ripley.
He gives a cheeky, tooth grin as usual, then continues.
AKA the man who is going to save Takedown from being the "B" show. I know as the new GM your job is to asses the talent pool and decide who should get a push and who shouldn't. Well my good man, if you want someone who is going to lead Takedown into the forefront, look no further. I mean hell...I managed to something that you AND your "Brother" here couldn't do for years...
...put Jon Pryor out of his misery.
Seriously, if he shows his face here in XWA again after I made like Thierry Henry on his skull two weeks ago, it'd be a damn miracle. I'm kind of a big deal. And if you want to make an impact as the new GM, I'd suggest utilizing me to the best of your ability. Like saaaaaaay...giving me a crack at whoever wins the World Title tonight at the next PPV.
He grins and chuckles.
Ok, ok...I know that's a lil' out of your ballpark to make happen. But the bottom line is I hope you do a better job with the GM spot then the last guy. We all heard what Carmella said about Roach when she introduced you, but let's face facts here. He got removed from the job because he did a suck ass job of being a GM. But you're Chris Lionheart. The visionary. The risk taker. The master of making crap look like gold. Well, you've got platinum standing before you. And I'm gonna show you just how valuable I am, tonight. I'm gonna go out to that ring, issue a challenge to anyone backstage with the stones to face me, and do what I do best. Win. And when I do, I hope you're watching "boss". That way you can see that as far as the food chain of Takedown goes, I'm pretty much right at the top of it.
Grinning ear to ear, Ripley waits to here what the reaction of either man would be to his typically cocky words.

MG walks in front of Dan Ripley and spits on his shoes with disgust to what Dan has just done. He cut him off. You cut me off!? What's your problem!? You don't respect me?! I think you owe me an apology little boy...
Save it. I want your apology in blood you white scum! You hear me little boy?

Simmer down MG...
Gen. says with a small chuckle.
Your not gonna kill anybody. Don't get your panties in a wad. Besides, as arrogant as Ripley might be. He can actually back it up.
As for Jon Pryor. Who cares. You know it, and I know it. He's a has-been. Funny thing is. I really don't understand his little 'vendetta' against me. We've never even been in the same place together until now. Matter of fact. The last time Jon Pryor & Genesis were ever in the same league together was back in Atlanta. And that was years ago.
Then he comes back onto the scene here in the XWA. What does he do? In addition to going after you. He takes a few shots at me. Why? I really don't know, and I could care less. Far as I'm concerned. The man is envious of me. That's the only thing I can come up with for his hatred & disdain towards me. Other then that? Who knows. Far as I'm concerned. He's ancient history. If you truly put him out of his misery? More power to you, Ripley. That'll be one less mouth to feed around these parts.
Now as for TakeDown. You're right! We're gonna jump from being the 'B' Show, to the top of the mountain. But there is one thing I have to disagree with you on. It won't be because of Dan Ripley alone. Cause you see, its gonna take all of us to chip in & make sure TakeDown regains his throne as the flagship program for this company. One person can't do it all. Not even Dan Ripley.

Post by "The R*" Robby Sylk on Sept 11, 2010 17:43:57 GMT -5
How wrong you are Genesis? One man has been doing it all, all along, from the very beginning! In stepped in Robby Sylk. Word that TD had a new GM obviously spread backstage extremely quickly, and to no surprise you had people trying to make their introductions. Sylk however believes he needs none. Looks like you guys are trying to get chummy with the new GM, huh? Hope you brought some napkins cuz I think I saw Lion-O having nachos earlier, it might get kinda messy down there if you know what I mean.He turns attention to the GM. As if you don't already know...Robby Sylk, aka Mr. TakeDown. I AM this show's single most successful superstar. While these guys just yak-yak-yak about small stuff, I've got a whole resume of big matches, championships and unforgettable moments in my back pocket against the best competition in the world! If little Ripley here's platinum for stealing pinfalls and taking out has-beens, then I'm some as yet undiscovered element buried deep within the earth that's about 10 times more precious than platinum!
Not that I'm bragging or anything like that, of course. I'm over here to let you know one thing and one thing only "boss". Me and my team are making things happen on TD, just like I've always made things happen on TD, so a word to the wise for you, stay out of our way and your job will be a whole lot easier.

You WERE this shows self proclaimed "most successful superstar" with "the best credentials" until I showed up kiddo.......
Last time I checked, I've put more into this business then any of you and have had enough gold that I could make King Midas cry.
But you aren't why I'm here.........
***She pushed him aside***
So Chris..........why ??

Gen. turned to his brother and asked a very blunt question: Bro, I just gotta ask. When it came down to your decision to trade Blade Myers outta here for an Overload Superstar. Out of all the talent that is over there. WHY... did you have to go to the BOTTOM of the barrel and get her!?
Seriously... Kim Hunter!? Really!?
I thought you wanted to help improve TakeDown... not downgrade it.

Ripley's responds in kind to all...
As much as I'd love to stand here and exchange pleasantries with you "old folks", I've for more pressing matters to attend to. Like showing all of you clowns how to get it done.
He looks to MG.
Without declaring jihad on society or spitting on people's shoes. Next time you do, you'd better have a Kangol hat on your head and a towel in your hand ready to shine them.
Then at Sylk.
And without having to make a deal with the devil himself because Mr. Momentum Killer and Black Hercules have been steady beatin' you and Pendle-buddy's asses week after week. Kinda down plays all of your "credentials" when you have to enlist the help of a guy who'd just as easily stab you in the back with a claymore to see his own ends met. But I'll leave you to ponder that one while you're shining up those trendy lil' shades of yours.
After a final once over of everyone in the area, Ripley chuckles to himself and murmurs under his breath...
And they I have an ego. *Heh*
He then takes his leave of the scene, heading in the direction of the locker room to ready himself for his Ring Rage appearance.

Lionheart calls Ripley back, finally speaking after taking in everything that everyone has said.
I don't recall Pryor and I ever fighting, but why do you seem proud of the fact that you banished him? Do you not think that veterans have their place in the industry too?
That match you requested may or may not be in my 'ballpark' of things I can and can't make happen, I don't control XWA, but I do control TakeDown. So we'll just see what happens with that one...
I like you Ripley, the confidence, the attitude, and the fact that from what I hear from Genesis just now and through the grapevine that you can really back it up. When I was the hotshot I went right up to the General Manager of the show I was on and I told him much like you told me now, that I equaled the continued success of his brand. I proved myself correct. I hope that you do the same.
Turning to Genesis
You are absolutely 100% right when you say that it is all of our responsibilities to make sure TakeDown regains the throne as the flagship program. I am the puppet master if you will, making the big announcements, cultivating the right scenarios, lining things up in a row so that when they go off, TakeDown comes out looking exciting, innovative and above all, better than Overload. But as we two well know, Genesis, it isn't about me, it's about each and every member of the roster pulling their own weight and making that happen. I just hope that everyone is on the same page as I am. Well... everyone except MG here, calling people white scum and such.
He motions towards "The GOLD*" Robby Sylk
You're Mr. TakeDown, is that right? I hope that by the time I'm through people will look back on the day I became General Manager and call me Mr. TakeDown instead. For the record, I hate nachos. But what I do like is a strong faction taking the roster by storm and, within reason, effecting change by force. You say you're the best on TakeDown? I want to see you and your group be the best, because that passion is what will get us ratings. Just one word of caution though. Often times in factions the guys who aren't the leader get a little tired of the view of your ass never changing. Always keep one eye watching your back. Because those pats on the back could just be looking for the soft spot to stick the knife in.
Lionheart turns and hugs Genesis, making a mocking crying sound. Breaking the hold, and wiping fake tears away from his eyes, he frowns at Kim Hunter.
Good-God she 'still' doesn't get it! I'm trying with you Hunter, I really am. Elsewhere, and now here. You want to meet me again and the 'first' thing you say is you're the most experienced out of this lot? I know for a fact that Genesis here has at least 3 months over your career's length. And when you started out I'm pretty sure that I was part of the vote to get you on your way to the big leauges. Don't get in my face again Kimmy. Unlike many in today's modern wrestling world, I might be retired here in New York, but I don't mind stretching an unruly talent on the mat back in Atlanta. Why did I trade for you? Because if anyone's gonna get your attitude it's going to be me, and come hell or high water, it's one of my goals to break your spirit and then rebuild you into something closer to what you once were. Instead of this egomaniacal constantly-complaining super bitch who only backs down and kisses ass when called by management on her shit and forced to look at her own part in her career failings. You're mine now, whichever company you're in. Deal with it.
Quickly turning back to Genesis...
That's why, bro. I'll help TakeDown, but I'll also help troubled souls like Kim, and younger wrestlers to find their way. It's what I've always done. Such a shame Kim has playdough in her ears and doesn't listen to many people who're trying to help.
