Yeah.
I've been here in Cali for a few days now, but today they came and hooked up the interwebs and cable and stoof. Yay! I'd have pictures to show, but I'm not the overt tourist "OOOOOH LET'S TAKE A PICTURE OF THAT!!!" type of guy.
I'll put up something eventually though. Right now, it's just a matter of getting the shows up so that we may proceed. It'll be done really soon.

Man, you're overly concerned about the shows for a coast to coast move.
Enjoy the new digs. You didn't go from a huge NYC scene to a huge California city (LA) did you? Props to you if you ended up in SD or something.

Nah, he's in Long Beach, which isn't to far from SD. I'm just glad his net is finally hooked up. Been a few days and I was starting to get worried. (Yes, I actually worry about my dear brother. I'm not completely heartless...lol.)

Actually I'm in Downey, which is still in LA County but a few cities off. I'm working my way to LA though, just to see if it's any different from NYC as far as cost of living goes. If it is, I'm staying out of there.
I'm still fighting off jetlag and trying to adjust to the timezone difference here (as I type this it would be 7AM out East, yet it's 4AM here), but the funniest thing so far is how California perceive cold weather. I swear it's like 70 degrees or so outside and they say it's cold. I've seen people rocking longsleeves and hoodies in that kind of weather and I'm saying to them "you call this cold? In NY people would be rocking shorts and flip flops in this kind of weather!" Gotta bear in mind most of the natives have never seen nor-easters or woke up to 3 feet of snow and 40+MPH winds. That why I say you can convert a New Yorker to Cali living, but put a Californian in New York and they'll want to go back out West...especially when winter arrives, lol.

Does that mean you're going to start rooting for Oakland, Chargers, or 49ers...?

Does that mean you're going to start rooting for Oakland, Chargers, or 49ers...? Hell to the no! My cable package comes equipped with NBA TV and the MLB Network, so I can watch the Knicks & Yankees...sadly NFL Network is only on satellite, so I'm gonna have to go the streaming route for NY Giants games.

And I don't like baseball, so no judgement...
