I've seen the movie and I actually really enjoyed it, and I wasn't expecting to because of the whole fight the exes deal. But I liked it.
As for the comics, I've been to a bookstore and saw it after the movie. I skimmed it and it seems to be pretty accurate as far as I can tell. Course, it was only one volume so who knows about the rest.

i barrowed the enotre series from a friend and plowed though it all the day before the movie, i have to say there is alot in the movie they left out, the graphic novel really makes you feel the love between scott and romona the movie is abit to fast pace for it thats because it put the enotre series all 6 novel into one movie

Chris Evans is the best at playing roles like Lucas Lee. Scott vs. Lucas was one of my fave fights in the movie. Of course he's no stranger to comic book characters roles. As we all know, he's played Johnny Storm/Human Torch in the Fantastic 4 movies, and he's also been cast to play Steve Rogers/Captain America in Captain America: The 1st Avenger, which I'm definitely looking forward to.

Chris Evans is awesome but along with Ryan Reynolds casted as green lanturn he should play a the serious role, both cap and lanturn are very serious people that dont really joke around at all its hard to think of the scene in the avengers where evans and downy jr are in the same scene and evans has to play the stright man

I want to see it as it sounds funny, but the lead actor playing Scott really grates on my nerves. He seems to 'always' play the same awkward geeky character who must overcome his inept social-ness. I'm getting very sick of him to be honest.
I'll probably give it a download rather than a cinema trip though.

Haven't really heard of it... Going by Karl's description, does it star Michael Cera?
