Okami Hawaito was easily lost inside a building as large as the United Center, Chicago. It was an endless concrete world that her personal path had wound into. Workers, staff and wrestlers passed her by in the constant buzz that was a TakeDown show. Okami would have been completely invisible if it weren't for the basic fact that she wore a white mask and cape. Even in the busy backstage environment of XWA, that would still get you a second look. Then there was the fact that Jamie Fury had gone down to the TakeDown ring and called Okami out by name and very specifically; that would get you noticed too. But TakeDown was still a big event, and people did take a second look but kept moving. The machine does not stop for small women. Okami, for her part, stayed out of its way as much as possible but refused to stay pent up in the changing room. The changing room was a dead end, and she preferred the life on the path ahead.
Moved aside by a train of heavy XWA crates going somewhere, Okami seemed to have finally found a perfect spot to sit. Three concrete stairs that led to an electrical hub. Unless it burst into flames, no one would climb them any time soon. With a mask covering her face and her eyes closed, she must have looked very peaceful. But in her minds eye she was running a match with Jamie Fury and all the wonderful power that woman contained. Okami was going to have to be quick again tonight. In her mind, it was just like that.

It must have been an eternity sitting there just watching the operations of a production as grandiose as the XWA just pass by before another competitor wandered in her vicinity.
Magnus' presence was far less subtle than that of Okami's. A mountain of a man who was probably the oldest person in the backstage area, and equally the most well conditioned. Still in his black business suit, he was en route to the locker rooms to prepare to initiate a challenge to any worthy opponent when it is he stumbled upon one the more impressive female competitors in the company just innocently sitting around.
Hmm. I find this to be quite intriguing. You Okami, could very well be treated like royalty in your present scenario. So why do you instead choose to sit here amidst this organized chaos?
He waved his hand toward the direction of the toils of the XWA crew at work.

There was a shadow, and then there was a voice. From her position she literally had to look up towards the ceiling to find any face. But then she did not find any face, she found the deeply lined face of Magnus Von Schwartz. She could never pronounce his name correctly, but she knew who he was: A giant. A veteran. The PURE Champion. She had watched him win the title and that title suited him.
Okami got to her feet and bowed respectfully because that was how she was raised in her cultured. She kept her head down as she thought about his words. It took a little while for her to raise her head again and speak.
"We have so many, do we need another Queen?"
Okami shook her head, watching the people move. The were like ants, and she was one of them. It was a good thought.
"I like the people I meet on the path. They never stop. They are always going somewhere. The people I meet in castles? They never leave. They are always waiting. I do not think I could do that."
Okami thought a little bit more about it.
"You did not wait."
