Following a match, Overload goes backstage where a camera happens to find Pollox Troy and Wesley Addis by the locker room.
Did I not say I could make a contender of you? Last week was a breakout performance. Against Naozane, you showed that you're good enough to be called the future of this sport. But we can't rest there, Wesley. No no no, we have to strike while the iron is hot. And that's what this weeks plan will entail. Last week, you managed to give Mihashi Naozane his 1st loss of the season. This week, I do the same for my old friend Ethan Bain. Then at Ring Rage, we unveil what we planned after last week's show. It's only the beginning, my boy. When the dust settles and the smoke clears, the biggest impact made on the 2010 season will be the one you and I leave in our wake.

Wesley ponders Pollox's plan for a moment before responding.
Are you sure taking on Bain is the best course of action? Not that I'm questioning it or anything, but...this is Ethan Bain we're talking about 'ere.

Pollox gives Wesley a stern, unimpressed look.
Do you fear Ethan Bain? Has the wins he's racked up against you dejected you that much that you believe he's some sort of super human? HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! If there's one thing I've proven in the past, it's that he's as human as anyone. Bain doesn't scare me, because nothing on this planet scares me. You've got a lot to learn, Wesley. Thankfully, I have plenty of time to teach it to you. Tonight, just pay close attention to what I do. Ethan Bain may be a beast of a man, but all beasts can be tamed. I've done it before, I'll do it again.
Pollox ventures off into the locker room to prepare.

Later on in the program, Lucy Black stands in the interview area joined by Ethan Bain.
Ethan, in just mere moments, you'll be facing Pollox Troy one on one. It's well documented the history you've had with Pollox since his arrival in XWA two years ago. How do you feel about facing him tonight?
I feel the same way I feel when I face anyone. Just 'cuz Pollox and me have history means bupkis. He's beaten me in the past, yea. But I've beaten him as well. Pollox is a heavy hitter, no question. But I'm a heavier hitter. Tonight, we're gonna step in that ring and throw bombs at each other. Whoever can stand up to the beatin' longer will be the man to come out with the W. Simple.
So what are your thoughts on him taking your newest rival, Wesley Addis under his wing as his apprentice?
That's gotta be the most comical thing I've heard in a minute. Addis thinks havin' Pollox in his ear is gonna change anything? Let him fool himself all he wants. The reason he's yet to beat me is because as good as he is, I'm better. I'm at the top of my game, Lucy. And it's gonna take more then what Addis, Pollox or any other man has to muster to knock me off. My eyes are set on bein' champion again soon. And I'm prepared to go through anyone, and I do mean anyone...who gets in my way. Tonight, Pollox Troy finds out once again why "The Big Ticket"...is the greatest show on Earth.
Bain leaves the interview area after his final statement. His entrance theme cues in the arena, and the match would soon follow.
