First Impressions (open)

TakeDown is the time and Chicago is the place. It seemed like as good a time as any to make a good first impression on her new home in the XWA. She stood by with backstage interviewer Fabiola to make her presence known in this, her first XWA appearance.

"Fabiola here, and my guest at this time is one of the newer talents to join the XWA, Ms. Brook Lynn! First of all, I'd like to welcome you to the XWA, but the question I have to ask you first is why did it take you so long to decide to show?"

Well you know what they say Fabiola, "timing is everything". I needed to sit back and see exactly where things were as far as the Diamond Division here on TakeDown goes, and needless to say, I've got my answers, so now the time is right for me.

"Okay, so then if you were scouting so to speak, who do you have the most interest in at this time?"

That's a tough question for me to answer, because honestly there are as many ladies here I'd be honored to face as there are ones it would be a pleasure to teach a lesson or two. I can't point the finger at just one person, all I can say is that I'm here now, and if there's any woman out there who wants to see what I'm all about, let's take it to the ring!

"An open challenge then?"

I guess you could say that. The pickings are a little slim nowadays, but it doesn't matter who it is who answers my challenge. I'm ready to show the XWA "Where Brook Lynn At!"

Only moments later, someone who take advantage of the airtime themselves, and make their presence known as well...

[Vesper]

"Where Brook Lynn At?" Darling, is this TakeDown or a documentary of The Notorious B.I.G.?

The voice that enters the scene now is one that hadn't been heard in a while. It was Vesper Gold, looking even more ravishing than most had remembered her in her brief stint in 2009. Fabiola's attention turns to her.

Fab: Hey, is that? Vesper Gold? Wow, we haven't seen you since last season haven't we...

Quiet, Spanish Fly. And for the record, it's now just Vesper. Like Cher, or Madonna, one name says it all...besides...I'm much too priceless to be just "gold" after all. Be a darling now will you...and shut up.

Now, Brook...can I call you Brook? You want to show everyone what you've got, hmm? Well as luck would have it, I'm in the same boat myself.

The small taste of delectable delight I gave the XWA last season is just that, a taste. Starting tonight is when I'll give you all the main course. Just like you I watched. Just like you I waited, and just like you, now is the time for me to make my first impression. Chicago will be the first stop on the Vesper World Tour, and unfortunately for you, your in my way like an adorable deer in the headlights of an 18-wheeler. The result of that is not going to be pretty, I assure you.

Brook looks over this woman and raises an eyebrow. Directing Fabiola's mic-wielding hand back to her, she replies to Vesper's boastful comments.

A deer in headlights? You, an obvious E! True Hollywood Story gone wrong, are going to run me over? I know it's not good to judge a book by it's cover but..."darling"...you look like you'd call for a DQ if you chipped a nail!

I'm Brook Lynn. MISS Brook Lynn, and I may look sweet, but I can be pretty spicy when I want to, and tonight you're going to see for yourself when I'm "peppering" you with these babies.

She clenches up her fists and points them in Vesper's direction.

Your little Vesper World Tour is about to be postponed honey.

[Vesper]

I'm intrigued to see if that New York style bravado of yours is the real deal Brook, or just a lot of talk with nothing to back it up.

She grins from ear to ear.

Tonight, you'll see from me that I'm oh so much more than just the pretty face of the Diamond Division. I talk the talk...and I walk the walk too.

Vesper starts to walk away but pauses for a moment and turns back.

Oh yes, be sure to stay tunes after the action ladies and gentlemen. You're in for quite the surprise.

With that little segue done for, now she heads away from the scene, leaving the other two to wonder what exactly she was talking about.
