The eerie theme of Bryan Jasta fills the Penngrowth Saddledome. Jasta steps out from behind the curtains with an unsettling look of contempt in his eyes. Making his way down to the ring, his gaze is soulless and empty. Once inside, he calls for a mic and makes an address to a certain someone.
Last week, there was a simple task that needed to be done. Defeat a pair of barbaric brutes, and secure the remaining two slots in the Global Title Crucibal. A task that should have been completed. But thanks in part to the glass jaw of one Osh Vaughn, Jonny Punch and Toa will have a chance to become Global champion. More importantly, I WON'T have a chance to become global champion.
This vexes me.
Jasta begins to pace the ring.
I am the benchmark of what dominance is in the XWA. Before there was Kayn, or Brian Yang, there was me. In it's previous incarnation as the National Title, I dominated every opponent put in front of me before I lost it to Van Hayden. Nine men fell within my reign. Three of them never showed their faces in the XWA ever again after I defeated them. I am a career killer. A livelihood ender. And Osh Vaughn, perhaps it's time I ended yours. For over a year's time now, you've been a thorn in my side. Last week old man, was the last straw. It's time we finish this, once and for all. What last week proved to me was that your time has come and gone. And the natural thing to do to an old dog who can't function as he should, is to put it down. Your euthanization is a long, LONG time overdue.
Jasta's address was soon cut off by the entrance theme of Osh Vaughn.

Have you ever been punched in the face by Jonny Punch? The guy packs one helluva hook I tell ya'. I dare you or anyone to try and get up after gettin' slugged by him. Yea, I was the man who was pinned last week, so technically I lost us a chance at the Global Title. But there's a question that begs to be asked, Jasta.
Where were you?
Hell, I was close enough to the ropes where you could have made the save. But what were you doing when Punch pinned me? Oh yea, getting stomped out by Toa outside of the ring. But it's funny how last weeks loss is my fault. It takes two men to win a Tag Team match. Two. And in that regard, we both lost. I got laid out, and you were unable to watch by back in the clutch. No surprises there. The only man you've ever watched that back of is that Italian fella Primo. So as expected, here you are...crying foul over the loss, pointing fingers and calling for my head. Well Jasta, I think I'm gonna oblige you on that one. You're 100% right when you said this has gone on far and long enough. There comes a time for all rivalries to come to a close. The time for this one to end is now. The problem is, you and I both know the only way that's going to happen is when the other man isn't around anymore.
Tony: I don't think I like the way this is headed...
I've done the dance against a lot of men in my day, but I can stand here and honestly say I've never encountered a competitor like you, Jasta. You're dangerous on a level no one else in XWA can match. Which is the reason why I take the task of facing you in that ring very, very seriously. So seriously in fact, that when we settle up...I want it for keeps. I want to leave no doubt in the minds of these people and each other that the man who wins, is physically the better between us. I'll give you your match tonight, so you can get your frustration out of the way. But in return, you need to give me my match. And my match goes down at Ring Rage. You, me...and about 1000 degrees of proving which one of us is the superior. That's right...and INFERNO MATCH.
[shadow=red,left,300]Was it astonishment or concern from the fans that was heard? Who knows, but the reaction was a memorable one. The kind of reaction to be expected when a man makes a challenge for as career threatening a match as an Inferno Match is.[/shadow]
Travis: I can understand he wants to end the rivalry, but an Inferno Match? That's overdoing it a bit. It's as barbaric a match as you can get.
Tony: The object of the match is simple, set the other man on fire. It can't get any more cut & dry. The loser of that match will wear the scars of it for life!
So what's it gonna be, Spartan?

An unimpressed smirk crosses the face of Jasta. He raises his mic to respond.
What's it going to be, you ask? *Hmmmph*, the inevitable end to your career no less. You speak of an inferno match as if it's the end all. I've competed in the only two Thunderdome matches ever done in history. In the 1st one, I ended the career of Michael Xavier. In the 2nd one, I beat Dru Nedermeyer to the point where the ref had to make the decision to stop the match. You fail to realize Osh, that when it comes to pain, no one in the industry delivers it better then I do. Dan Ripley said it best over on Takedown...I'm a career killer. The list of names reads like a who's who. I've subjected my body to far worse matches, and came out the man with his hand raised in victory. I'd ask you to reconsider, but I know how stubborn you are all to well. I hope you've put some thought into what you're doing. Because once the flames are ignited, there's no turning back.

[shadow=red,left,300]Osh brings up his mic for his final reply.[/shadow]
Trust me, I know exactly what I'm stepping into. This ends one way or another at Ring Rage. And whatever the outcome, I'm willing to accept it, whatever it is. All acts bring about consequences. And the consequences that are coming between us are going to be felt for a long, long time.
[shadow=red,left,300]Osh's theme cues over the PA once more.[/shadow]
Tony: It all comes to a head in Toronto. Osh Vaughn, Bryan Jasta and a ring surrounded in flames. Like Osh said, one way or another, it'll end at Ring Rage.

The End.
