A press release from the office of the President of the XWA regarding current events on the TakeDown brand.
Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Last week on TakeDown we saw some amazing victories by two rising stars against the best of the best. Both Buliwyf and Okami Hawaito earned victories against our current World and Diamond Champions respectively, which leads me to giving them both deserving opportunities for the XWA's next upcoming PPV, Ring Rage.
As you know, RR is the home of the Crucible Match. As has been explained already, the format of the match has changed for 2010, but as of now I will officially announce 1/2 of the TakeDown Crucible Matches...
For the XWA World Title, reigning champion Tommy Tryton will be joined by Buliwyf, and for the Diamond Title, champion Jamie Fury and Okami Hawaito are now confirmed competitors, leaving two spots in each match which will be filled on the next TD airing.
Now, speaking of TD itself, conspicuous by his absence has been the GM of the show, Mike Roach. This is due to what he's notified me as a "family emergency". Because of this, there will be until further notice a new GM of the TakeDown brand...

I will be taking over the GM duties beginning with the show heading to Chicago, and for the remainder of the season, so to all the TakeDown fans, expect the best, and to the TakeDown superstars, I expect the best. That's about it...I'll see you all in Chicago.
