Mounted Frustration (Invite)

~Takes place following the Ashley Vs. Cyn match at General Motors Place~

All Cyn could do was sit on the ring floor and wonder what the hell had happened. In one second, she'd taken over the match with a flurry of offense that seemed to have stunned and staggered Ashley, and the next, she was rolled up for a three count. As the crowd cheered and Ashley celebrated in the ring, the frustration began to well up in Cyn like a volcano. Was Ashley Diamond actually that good? Cyn had fought her with everything she could muster. She hit all the right moves at the right times. Any other opponent would have wilted under such an onslaught. But Diamond took everything thrown at her and capitalized on a single moment of vulnerability.

Tony: Unbelievable!!! That's the reason right there why that woman is called the best in the world. What an incredible win for Ashley Diamond!!!

Travis: Cyn looks absolutely lost in the ring right now. And rightly so. It looked like she had this one in the bag, but Ashley's dangerous at all times. You can't help but be impressed by her.

Cyn sat and mulled over what she could possibly do now. Two tries against Diamond. Two decisive and rather convincing losses to her. But a chain of events where about to happen that would change the course of the tale between the two women.

[ashley]

The ref had raised her hand, and Ashley was feeling quite celebratory over the win. It's not everyday that one gets two wins over a woman as capable and talented as Cyn Nister. A momentary lapse in concentration on Cyn's part was the difference between winning and losing. When the margin of error is that small, keeping ones wits is the difference maker. Maybe Cyn got overconfident having reeled off the series of impressive moves she did at the tail end of the match, but that didn't matter. What mattered was again, Ashley stood victorious over another tough challenger. But she wouldn't get the chance to savor the victory as she may have wanted to.

Seemingly from out of the shadows, a woman not seen in months emerges from near the timekeeper's table. She bounds over the barricade with a look in her eyes best described as hell on Earth.

Travis: Is that? Y....yes, it is!!! Anjelyka!!! Anjelyka's just stormed the ringside area!!!

Tony: We haven't seen her since when she was forced into facing Heather Fierhart and Ina in a two on one match. She vanished off the face of the Earth after that night.

It took her all but a few seconds to make her intentions crystal clear to the world. She slides into the ring and coils into the ready position. Before Ashley knew what hit her, Anjleyka locks her into position and delivers her reverse STO finisher the "Fall From Grace" on the unsuspecting Diamond. A salvo of boos follow as Anjelyka stands over Ashley's prone body and surveys her handywork. Almost witha 6th sense, she feels Cyn drawing close. Without even a 2nd though, she spins around, using the momentum to deliver a jaw stiffening pump kick to the face of Cyn, crumbling her like a building being demolished. Anjelyka stands over both women, who now lay motionless in the center of the ring. Boos pour out from the fans as Tony and Travis try to make sense of what they just witnessed.

Tony: I...I don't believe what I just saw. Anjelyka, who hasn't been seen in XWA for the better part of 9 months, appears here tonight and absolutely destroys Ashley Diamond AND Cyn Nister. Th...this is unprecedented. But why? What's she have to gain from this?

Travis: I'll tell you what. Recognition. If there was ever a statement you could make, laying out two of the best competitors in the Diamond Division in one shot IS that statement. The Dark Angel has returned, and with her she brings fury, anarchy and destruction. The Overload Diamond Division just got put on notice!

In the mean time, Anjelyka had called for a mic. She raises it and merely says...

You'll find out why...soon enough.

She then lets the mic fall to the floor. Her music plays over the PA, and she backs up to the ropes. As she exits the ring, the camera gets in close enough to see a small smile cross the lips of the enigmatic woman. The final shot of the scene would show Nister and Diamond still motionless in the ring.

~The following takes place during the Pengrowth Saddledome Overload~

Following a commercial break, The Crystal Method's Acetone cues over the PA. Cyn Nister emerges from backstage with a look of purpose on her face, and rightly so. Last week left a bad taste in her mouth on two accounts. Losing in humiliating fashion to Ashley Diamond, then being blasted in the mouth by the returning Anjelyka. Cyn reaches the ring steps, where a mic was provided for her. Once inside the ring, she wastes no time in her address.

Soon enough has come and gone. I want answers, and I want them now. Get your pale, pasty arse out here and face the music!!!

Tony: She looks pissed and ready to rip someone's head off. And that someone I think goes by the name of Anjelyka.

Travis: Calling that woman out might not be in one's best interests.

Not soon after, and entrance music begins to play. But to Cyn's frustration, it wasn't the one she was hoping for.

[ashley]

It was the theme of Ashley Diamond. She too makes her way down to the ring.

Tony: Not exactly who I thing Cyn was wanting, but this could get interesting none the less. As you all know, last week these two women went tooth and nail in a match that came down to one move. A move that Ashley Diamond made to secure the win. But that's not the whole of the story. Following the match, Anjelyka...a form XWA Onyx Champion and one of the most formidable women in the sport made her return to XWA. And what a return it was.

Travis: Anjelyka in one fell swoop showed us all why she's one of the most fearsome women in our industry, dispatching of both Ashley and Cyn with almost incredible ease. I don't think I've seen either woman taken out like that before.

Ashley now stood in the ring with Cyn. With mic in hand, she speaks.

Cyn, I'm not out here to address our match last week. I'm hear just like you, to find out what the hell after the match was all about. I know you more then likely aren't done with me by a long shot, but I don't take to kindly to being blindsided either. So I figured I'd come on down here to the ring and here what Anjelyka had to say in person as well.

[cyn]

Visibly flustered, Cyn raises her mic to respond.

You better bet your arse we're not done, Ashley. But I'll handle that little issue another time. Right n...

Before she could continue, she was cut off by the entrance theme of the woman in question, Anjelyka.

[ang]

Anjelyka steps out onto the stage with a mic of her own in hand. As her music begins to fade, she addresses Ashley and Cyn in the ring.

I'm so glad that I have your attention, ladies. Because it's clear that you both needed a little wake up call. We've all watched you two battle each other with words and with action in the ring the last couple of weeks. We've seen you Cyn, talk about how spoiled and unconditioned the majority of the Diamond Division is. And we've seen you Ashley, talk about how skill and perseverance is the driving force behind your own success. Quite frankly, it's boring the hell out of me. I could careless about your aspirations and your legacies. Which leads me to the reason why I did what I did last week. I did it quite simply...

...because I can.

A shrill grin follows.

Every single one of you have your own hidden agendas. Your own vices. And it's those agendas and vices that make you weak. Me? I have no agenda. All I care about is one thing. The same thing I cared about from day one. Circumstance. All actions have circumstances that lead to the action itself, and the result of that action. The two of you have seen fit to preach your own agendas under the guise of "competition". The circumstance of that? I came along and without even breaking a sweat, showed both of you the brutal and honest truth. No matter how good you are. How adored you are by the fans. How sought after you are by the media. It can end in the blink of an eye. Your legacies mean nothing to me, ladies. Your rivalry means nothing to me. All I care about right now...is which one of you wants to go first?

Travis: I know a challenge when I hear one. And THAT was a challenge. No fear from "The Dark Angel".

Tony: Because she can? What kind of reasoning is that? Does she even realize what she's doing? She's got two, count 'em...two angry, world class wrestlers in that ring. And she wants to know which one of them wants to go first?

Travis: What's she got to be afraid of? She's already shown she can get the better of them both.

Tony: Yea, but that was after a grueling, physical contest. I doubt the results will be the same when either of them know what's coming.[/center]

[ashley]

Ashely would be 1st to reply.

Anjelyka...I always knew you were how you say..."different". But this tells me that you're plum out of your damn mind. Wherever you vanished off to last year, I guess the air must be kinda thin there, because it's messed with your brain to the point where you think your some sort of judge over the rest of us. I've got a news flash for you, face to face in this ring is a whole different ballgame then when we're not looking or expecting an attack. Which one of us wants to go first? You're looking at her.

As expected, Ashley's words where stern and steadfast. But also as expected, Cyn would have something to say of her own.

[cyn]

Cyn brings up her mic to counter Ashely's reply.

Just as I expected. Lil' Ms. Hero stepping up to save the day. I don't think so, luv. If there's anyone who's going to get the satisfaction of putting the Underworld reject back in her coffin, it's me. Then after I've taken care of her, I'll take care of you. And this time, I won't leave anything to chance.

Tony: You had a feeling this was going to happen. No one light a match, the powder keg might go up in flames.

[ang]

Taking complete and total joy in the bickering between the two rivals, Anjelyka throws more fuel on the fire.

Priceless. Absolutely priceless. You can't even decide among yourselves who wants to face me. If I were in either of your shoes, I'd gladly let the other face annihilation, then pick up the scraps to seal the deal. Proof positive just how over the edge your egos are. I'll tell you what. I'll do you both the favor of making the decision for you. Tonight...the three of us will have some fun with each other all at once. And who knows, you might even be able to pull yourselves away from clawing each others eyes out long enough to actually get some payback on me. Maybe.

Anjelyka's theme hits the PA once more. She lowers her mic and grins, knowing full well that in a match like this, she has nothing to lose, but tons to gain.

[ashley]

The camera turns it's focus back to Ashley and Cyn in the ring. They glared at each other, each knowing the game Anjelyka was playing had consequences that far outweighed what they would have been before last week's events.

Travis: Last week Anjelyka made a statement. This week, she's upped the ante. This is gonna be one explosive match!

The scene would end as Overload cuts to a Ring Rage advertisement.
