Manami Toyota hits the USA

I just learned that Joshi legend Manami Toyota, one of the greatest female performers of all time will make her debut in the USA coming this September. It'll be two shows for CHIKARA, the first in Baltimore on Sep 18 and then the 19th in Brooklyn, NY. I'm psyched cuz that's pretty much a train ride away from me. I might just have to check that out.

Despite Toyota being in her 40s now, she could still put on a better show than any Diva half her age. This is going to be a couple of awesome shows. More info as it comes along.

Wasn't Black Widow from WCW vs. NWO World Tour modeled after her? She was pretty bad ass in that game, killed most of the cruiser guys... Sounds like a good time

The matches featuring Manami have recently been announced. At the 9/18 show in B-More she'll be in a one on one match against Daizee Haze, and the next night in BK she'll be in a special mixed tag team match, pairing up with Mike Quackenbush to face off against the duo of Sara Del Ray and Claudio Castiglione.

Those are going to be some awesome matches there.
