Bone to pick (Sushi-X)

[Romeo Davis]

The crowd waits in anticipation as to what will happen next during the action packed show of Overload. Romeo’s theme music begins to play throughout the arena. The crowd shows mixed towards Romeo as he steps out from behind the curtain. His comments toward Sushi-X last week were harsh enough for him to lose a few fans. He still looks as if he was still angered by what happen during Overload two weeks ago. He shows no emotion as he enters the ring under the top rope. Typically he is dancing around the ring with high energy but right now he seems angry. He receives a microphone and raises it to his lips.

During Vendetta you all saw why I missed the show because I explained to you the reasonin’. For all y’all that don’t know why it’s ‘cause I was injured. Everybody gets injured. But this injury coulda’ been prevented. I’m not the kinda’ person ta’ blame things on others but myself but this injury was not my fault. Sushi-X is the man ta’ blame for me not bein’ in action at Vendetta. Please, play the clip.

The crowd turns as the clip is projected on the screen. The clip shows Sushi-X struggling to pick up Romeo. He manages to pick him up and drops him on his head. Romeo is then seen hurt and not getting up after being dropped.

We all see there that Sushi-X clearly didn’t have the strength at the end of the match to be able to perform a move like that. ‘Cause of his stupidity I had ta’ sit out Vendetta. ‘Cause of him I got pinned but Kelon JAH of all peeps. Come on now. He was lucky I was too hurt ta’ do kick outta’ the pin. I’m beyond pissed right now ‘cause I take a step back ‘cause of the missed show. Sushi-X I want ya’ ass in the ring here tonight. I wanna show ya’ the pain I experienced two weeks ago. I’m gonna make ya’ pay for what ya’ did. Get out here now and accept this match!

Sushi-X's "X Gon Get Away With Murder" plays over the loudspeakers and the current XWA No Limits Champion enters to mostly cheers, but some boos; obviously from what Romeo just said. The champion confidently walks in the ring and asks for a mic. He then turns his attention to his potential challenger.
Kill my music!

Tony: This should be most interesting.

Travis: I don't know a lot about these two personally, but they're closer than brothers from what I've heard. I'd love to see them tear each other apart tonight!

Ok, let me get this straight. You have an issue with me...because I dropped you on your head in what ended up being in an awkward manner and it ended up costing you a PPV payday, right?

Look, I'm sorry you got hurt. But you know as well as all these people do that I give 150% in this ring. I leave it ALL in this ring. That's why I still am the No Limits Champion!

The crowd cheers as Sushi-X takes the belt from around his waist and holds it up for the masses to see.

You're blaming me because I more or less caused you to get pinned by Kelon. How nice... but if I remember correctly, one, I also got pinned by Kelon the week before you did. And two, it was your shoulders that got pinned, not mine. So that's a you problem, brother.

But I know the real reason you're out here. You want... what I have, don't you? See, in your mind, the best revenge for having food taken off your table is to take food off someone else's table. And in your mind, you do that by taking this...my No Limits title. Is that what this is really about?

So you got dropped on your head. Big freaking deal! Last summer, I got burned and was fighting for my life.

Romeo... people get hurt in the ring all the time. From that point, and this is important because this applies to you, you have two options. One, you whine, bitch, and complain to no end to anyone that will listen that you may never be the same again. Or option two: you rise above your pain and injury and you come back stronger than ever and make better for yourself.

So it seems like I don't have the decision to make, because I believe I've made my point clear. It's you. It's you, Romeo Davis. What are you going to do? You're gonna bitch about your problems or are you gonna do something about them?

Travis: Here we go, Tony! We're gonna see these best friends beat the hell out of each other right here, right now!

Sushi-X lowers his mic in anticipation for what is going to happen next.

Romeo raises the microphone to his lips before beginning to respond back to Sushi-X.

Ya’ know for damn sure I’m gonna do somethin’ ‘bout it Sushi-X. I know peeps get injured all the time. I have been injured many times before from my soccer and basketball career. I know what it feels like so I ain’t complainin’. The point that I’m makin’ is that ya’ knew ya’ didn’t have enough strength that late in the match to lift me up for your finisher. The injury coulda’ been prevented. But ya’ know what, it don’t matter anymore ‘cause I’m gonna deal wit’ this right now bro. No complainin’ ‘bout this anymore. Now it’s time ta’ do my thing and that’s beat ya’ ass in this ring tonight. I don’t care’bout that title ya’ carry right now Sushi-X. This is between you and me. Kelon will get his later. I don’t care what this match is. Singles, First Blood, Extreme Rules, Title match, I don’t care. I just want you in this ring tonight my friend. Go ahead and name what ya’ want and we’ll get this match started ASAP!

[Sushi-X]

Sushi-X thinks about it for a moment before answering. Two words triggered a simple response.

Xtreme... Rules.

The crowd instantly erupts in excitement.

Travis: I love it, Tony! Romeo is tired of being in the shadows. He's tired of being overlooked. He's tired of being taken advantage of, and tonight, he's going to take it out on the champion.

Tony: I don't exactly approve of Romeo's attitude. Maybe it's a change of pace, maybe it's frustration, but he wants to make an impact.

If you can beat my ass tonight, you can have your shot at my title.

But you're right... why wait until later? Let's do this right now!

Sushi-X immediately drops his microphone and swings his championship belt at Romeo, but misses.

Extreme Rules is fine by me bro. Ya’ wanna get this match started, then let’s do it!

Romeo drops the microphone to the mat. He runs in the direction of Sushi-X and delivers a huge clothesline.

Tony: What the hell was that for? The bell hasn’t even rung yet!

Travis: This Romeo Davis has changed for the worse!

Romeo proceeds to get on top of Sushi-X, grabs his head, and begins planting fists to his forehead. He didn’t stop until the referee pulls him away. The crowd begins to boo at the sight of this. What has gotten into Romeo Davis? He picks up the microphone from the mat and lifts to his lips.

Nah Sushi-X, we ain’t gonna start the match yet. That’s jus’ a lil’ preview of what’s gonna happen to ya’ tonight. Be ready ‘cause once that bell rings, there ain’t not stoppin’ me from hurtin’ ya.’

Romeo chucks the microphone at Sushi-X’s body on the mat. He picks up the No Limits championship title and gives it a good look before laying it across Sushi-X’s body. He exits the ring taking in the boo’s as he walks up the ramp. Romeo Davis has changed into something anyone ever thought he would be. Could it be because of the neck injury or was it something else that bothered him?

[Sushi-X]

Sushi-X struggled to pull himself up after the surprise beating Romeo gave him. Once closer than brothers, this Romeo was different. The question: why?

A couple of referees and officials try to pull up the No Limits champion as the boos fade away when Romeo enters the backstage area.
Tony: What has gotten into Romeo, Travis?

Travis: C'mon Tony, you saw it! Sushi-X clearly provoked Romeo in this situation. He's the one that drove Romeo into this! He got what he deserved here! If you take someone out, you can't expect them not to respond to that!

Tony: That's a bunch of BS! I'm sure Sushi-X would never try to injure someone intentionally.

Travis: You forgot, he was the hitman for TNN one time; you damn right he would do it. He's a NINJA, Tony!

Tony: He was, Travis. Keyword there. WAS. But no matter, I guess these one-time best friends are going to collide in an Xtreme Rules match! TONIGHT!

Sushi-X managed to walk away on his own power, but clearly not feeling himself, still groggy from the assault. The crowd applauds the fact he is alright, but many are still stunned at Romeo's actions.
