An EPIC continuation {spoiler and invite}

[Kayn]

*As Takedown continues "Hammer Smashed Face" plays throughout the arena. As the fans come to their feet, Kayn comes out from the backstage area. He stands on the stage for a few moments before he heads down the ramp.*

Matt: "Here comes the first 'Combatant Xtraordinaire' Buzz. He's been in a heated battle since this season's beginning with a man who thinks he should be at the top of the food chain here in the XWA, Scott Epic."

Buzz: "Epic is the man, and don't you forget it! Kayn got lucky twice and walked away with his hide in tact."

Matt: "Really? You truly believe that Buzz?"

Buzz: "Scott Epic is my pick to be the next world champion Matt. No one else is the same caliber of him. NO ONE!"

*By this time Kayn is in the ring with a mic in his hand. His music fades and he begins to speak.*

"Rosemont Illinois, thank you. Thank you for having us here tonight."

*Huge pop from the crowd*

"So for the past few months I've had a thorn in my side that as of Madness I've painfully ripped out."

*The crowd cheers as Kayn continues.*

"Yea, yea. Scott Epic wanted to make a name for himself at my expense, and just like so many before him, I left him in the ring defeated and making him wish he'd rethought his words."

*The Illinois fans pop as Kayn keeps speaking.*

"Now I remember hearing at Madness that Buliwyf decided that he was going to make himself the number one contender for Tommy's title. But you know what? I think I've been here long enough to stand right here and say that I AM the TRUE number one contender for the World title!"

*The crowd explodes.*

Matt: "Wow Buzz! Kayn throwing his name in the world title hunt! I think of anyone deserves it partner, it's Kayn."

Buzz: "I can think of a hundred other guys that deserve it more than him."

"So Tommy! I know you're in the back, let's make this official!"

*As the crowd pops and Kayn stands in the ring he waits for a reply for the champ..... but another wrestler's theme plays.*

UNDEAD!

Boos erupted. That sole scream could only mean one thing.... Scott Epic wasn't going to lay down and play dead.

For no one.

"Cut the damn music!" he screamed, exiting out from behind the vid-curtain... "I said cut it NOW!!!"

The music died down. The boos didn't. EPIC paced the stage, fuming with the microphone.

"You think it's that easy, don't you meathead?" His pace was frantic. He ran his head through his hair, staring right at the stage. "You think I'm giving up?" He stops abruptly. "I KNOW I CAN BEAT YOU!!!"

The crowd boos heavily as EPIC screams at his foe.

See, Buzz... he's losing it...

Oh no, Matt... he's angry. And you won't like him, when he's angry. Future World Champ... this moment defines it...

With a temper tantrum?

Just you wait...

His motion finally stopped, he glares down Kayn from the stage.

"This, is the finale, Kayn. Tonight, is when I beat you. To hell with Tryton... After watching that ass-raping that he handed S.T.E. at Madness, I can already tell you that you're not fit to hold his jock! Why? Because you can't DECISIVELY beat me! And tonight, it's when it all changes. Because tonight? Tonight starts the night when Kayn CAN'T BEAT ME!!!"

*Kayn stands in the ring and watches Epic's breakdown with a slight amazement, not knowing a grown man could have such a tantrum. Kayn brought his mic to his mouth.*

"Scott, you lost, deal with it. You lost to the better man not once, but twice and your little tirade isn't going to change that. So go ahead into the back and we'll all forget you came out and let me get back to more pressing matters."

*Kayn turns his back to Epic and faces the crowd again.*

"Now as I was saying.... Tommy, come on out he.."

*Before Kayn could continue his statement, Epic interrupted him.*

"Tommy, stay back there.

You don't get it, Kayn. I've talked to Marshall Dane. He's given me one last chance to make a statement on your ass too. You will face me tonight, whether you like it or not."

He lowers the microphone to a chorus of boos.

"So forget about Cue-ball. Forget about a shiny belt that you think you should have around your waist. Because later on tonight you're going to have my shiny boot right up your ass, with no goddamn clue as to what just happened.

[Kayn]

*Kayn shakes his head slightly before looking up the ramp at Epic.*

"So let me get this straight, you went and cried to Marshall Dane having your butt handed to you twice, so that you can have it handed to you one more time? Wait, wait, let me guess, he said that it would be 'Good for ratings' right? You know, it doesn't surprise me that ratings mean more to Dane than the welfare of the roster, but I guess he's kind of in charge so I have no choice. Fine, you want one more match, you've got it. Then once I pin you this time, this whole 'I'm the Xtraordinaire killer' garbage can finally be put to sleep."

*Kayn lowers his mic as the crowd cheers and waits for Epic's response.*

[epic]

"Wrong... once I destroy you, we're going to put the "I AM AN XTRAORDINAIRE" right on the f***ing mantle, right in front of each and every one of the three of you who's ass I entirely handed to them. Nothing's going into the trash but your credibility... Count on that."

He tossed the microphone in front of him. It noisily clattered down the rampway, before hissing to a stop as his music fired up.

"I don't get what Epic has in mind. He's lost two straight times to Kayn. He seemed to learn his lesson from losing twice to Kris Cade, why can't he do it here?"

"'cuz Cade's small fish compared to Kayn. And he's going to be an even smaller fish compared to Scott Epic by the end of the night... guarantee that..."

"Just keep sipping on that Kool-Aid, Buzz..."
